If this isn't an occasion for the sparkly icon, I don't know what is...

Anyway, because I'm always up for some entertainment and comments *snicker*, if you'd like to participate in my version of the 1000-post meme (dude, when did I become such a memesheep?) currently making the rounds of my flist, you have two options.

1. Post something random. Maybe a link to a story you liked that we can subsequently squee over. A random comment is fine. Whatever works.

2. Comments round-robin. Take the beginning of this story and continue it.

It was a dark and stormy night. Remus and Sirius were at Remus's house, watching the lightning flash across the sky and listening to the thunder roll.

"Let's go outside, Moony," Sirius suggested suddenly, looking away from the window.

Remus blinked, taken aback. "But it's storming!" he protested.

"So?" Sirius asked, then grinned mischievously and darted from the room, heading for the front door.
Now your turn!

And as added incentive, I will write custom-ordered fic (as long as there is no Remus/Snape, Remus/Tonks, or James/Sirius requested) for whoever posts comment #1000. I will drabble for whoever gets comments 100, 200, 300, etc. Be sure to announce it, if you're the person with any of those comment numbers, as I'll probably miss it myself.

Yeah, my parents used to tell me all about it. They went so many times and never took me along. *grumble*

Where are you thinking about going to college? Which is way too serious to discuss while also talking about America shagging things, but still. It's on topic. Heh.

Oregon or Washington. Somewhere with rain and that is still West Coast, because...eh, West Coast is just my home and I like living here.

Seattle is apparently an awesome town, and looking at your journal, you're going there soon, which is neat and fun.

Yes, I've heard the same from like lots of people. It's my first time going there and dude, I so want to. Seattle appears to have everything that I could want, though I'll have to see what it's like myself.

It's where Starbucks and grunge were founded. How could it not be cool?

I've never had anything from Starbucks. I don't think I've ever seen one in Nevada. I don't remember.

*must go to Seattle*

Starbucks is what keeps me a functioning individual. I even made my own drink there. The white chocolate mocha with a shot of raspberry syrup in it. It tastes like raspberry cheesecake and is toe-curlingly good.

I have heard from many that Starbucks is what keeps college students in general functioning individuals. Maybe it means that I should develop a taste for coffee sooner or later. *muses*

Yeah. In Gainesville alone, there are four Starbucks. One is within walking distance from campus and I went there almost every day.

What I recommend for developing a taste for coffee is to try their frappuccinos (or however you spell it) first. Like a caramel one that isn't very coffee-ish. Then try the white chocolate mocha drink because that doesn't taste like coffee at all, really. My goal is to eventually be able to drink coffee black because that's so cool to say.
