If this isn't an occasion for the sparkly icon, I don't know what is...

Anyway, because I'm always up for some entertainment and comments *snicker*, if you'd like to participate in my version of the 1000-post meme (dude, when did I become such a memesheep?) currently making the rounds of my flist, you have two options.

1. Post something random. Maybe a link to a story you liked that we can subsequently squee over. A random comment is fine. Whatever works.

2. Comments round-robin. Take the beginning of this story and continue it.

It was a dark and stormy night. Remus and Sirius were at Remus's house, watching the lightning flash across the sky and listening to the thunder roll.

"Let's go outside, Moony," Sirius suggested suddenly, looking away from the window.

Remus blinked, taken aback. "But it's storming!" he protested.

"So?" Sirius asked, then grinned mischievously and darted from the room, heading for the front door.
Now your turn!

And as added incentive, I will write custom-ordered fic (as long as there is no Remus/Snape, Remus/Tonks, or James/Sirius requested) for whoever posts comment #1000. I will drabble for whoever gets comments 100, 200, 300, etc. Be sure to announce it, if you're the person with any of those comment numbers, as I'll probably miss it myself.

I should write more Sirius/Remus, huh?

Everyone should :D.

And I still need to write your FFX-2 drabble. Why is it always so hard to switch fandoms after writing in one for so long? :p

It was a sticky rain, heavy and hot on the skin, and Remus stood on the bottom step, holding out a palm, up to the bloated sky. Sirius stood below, heights even, his head turned up, childish tongue dark pink in the strange, eerie light when he stuck it out to collect the rain.

"You're mad," Remus whispered in his ear, his lips almost catching the drops that rain through Sirius's hair, down his cheekbones, over his temples and curving the line of his jaw. "Utterly."

Sirius turned, grinning, tongue stuck between white-flashing teeth. "Well," he smirked, against the lightning. "You'd know all about madness, wouldn't you?"

I guess it depends on the fandom. I was able to switch pretty easily between S/R and FFX-2 easily. Xenosaga has been creeping in too what with Chaos/Shion and Margulus(sp?)/Cherenkov being my primary SHIPs. But, there's still Brigandine and Star Ocean 2 stuff to be done after, like, two years. Heh.

I also have to do some drabbles for some people. HEE!

I guess it's just that Remus and Sirius tend to TAKE OVER MY BRAIN and refuse to leave me alone :p. I was playing VIII today (no level up challenge, whee!), and even when Squall's running around being an ass to people, I think about R&S. I'm like, buried in this fandom.

Sirius/Remus is one of my all time favorite pairings, so I can't say I blame you. I guess it's like Baralai/Isaaru with me, only the Crimson Squad pairings are more canonically feasible. At least I guess so. It's hard to say with that game. Heh.

I'd join in the RR thingy, but the only boys I've got in my head right now are the glittery kind. XD

Want a sneaky-peek at the next FB-ficlet?

Want a sneaky-peek at the next FB-ficlet?

SO MUCH YES.

Hee. And maybe I will start another round-robin just so you can have your glittery boys. :D

*ROAR* Let's try this again with the correct HTML!

Diamond Dogs

"I've got your present here," Remus said, then held up his hand before Sirius's obvious glee could spill out into words or, more likely, joyous whooping. "Wait, wait a minute. You've got to promise you won't get all leery. Don't think you're managing to uncover secret hidden Kinks, just because I'm spending a great deal of time in bed with you. You're not. It's a joke. I thought it was funny. Granted, I wasn't thinking straight, it was only a few days after the moon, but still, it's a joke. An attempt. Possibly not a very good one, I know you're going to get stupid about it, but I've got it now and it's Christmas so you've just got to have it, I didn't have time to find anything else once I realised what an abysmally horrid idea it was, so, um." He paused for breath.

"Can I speak yet?" Sirius asked.

"Yes."

"I love you, you silly bastard. You think it matters what you bought me for Christmas?"

"Well, if you're going to be like that..."

"NO! I didn't mean I don't want it! Oh, give it here, let me see."

He grabbed the little parcel and tore excitedly through the layers of gold paper until he got to the box... then paused.

"Just get it over with, will you?" Remus said. He looked distinctly nervous now, with his knees tucked up underneath his chin and hugged close to his body underneath the blankets. "What on earth are you waiting for?"

Sirius shrugged cheerfully. "Just savouring the moment, my Moony, my love, my heart. We'll never have another first-Christmas, you know."

"...Hee. Soppy mutt."

"You love me."

"You know it."

"Okay, enough talking."

He snatched the lid off the box -- and promptly fell off the bed onto the carpeted floor with a very strangled-sounding yell.

"Um." Remus started giggling rather stupidly into his fingers. "Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine..." Sirius jumped up from the floor then, having fixed the spangly red faux-diamond-studded collar around his neck. He looked inordinately pleased with himself. "I'm FINE! But not half as fine as you're going to be when I get my hands on you! Not to mention my tongue and willy."

Remus was fairly close to hysterics at this point. "Um," he managed to force out, somewhere between laughing fits and returning Sirius's ferocious kisses. "Happy Christmas, then."

Remus returned the grin fiercely. "Oh yes, I know all about madness." He stepped closer to Sirius, who took a step back. They continued the movements until Sirius found himself caught between the front door and Remus. Remus rubbed his lips against Sirius's cheek. "You make sure to drive me quite mad with lust every night." He licked Sirius's cheek.

Sirius squirmed due to the sharp contrast of Remus's hot breath against his cheek and the chill of the rain among other things. "Weren't we supposed to be going somewhere?"

Um. Random spam in addition to my contribution to the RR fic.

I hate hate hate hate when people take OOC things in an RP into account for IC things. You do NOT mix the two.

Oh yay. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I realized halfway along that maybe it was getting annoying. But you did ask for 1000 comments.

Funny, not annoying. *snicker* You don't have to do the full 1000 yourself though :p.

More randomness!

Socks.

Oh, I know that I don't have to do them all by myself, but I like to get a good head start, and hopefully I'll get one of the numbers so I can get a fic or a drabble or whatnot. My motives are purely selfish. :D

Socks are good! I went to a strict conservative Catholic high school that had uniforms, and the only thing we could have to be creative was our socks. So I have about 50 pairs of socks, none of which are normal. I think my favourite pair is the glittery bats, quite possibly followed by my flamingo socks, if only because I ADORE flamingos. Is that the correct way to pluralize "flamingo"?

* My motives are actually not purely selfish as I do love commenting, especially rapid commenting like this because it's kind of like AIM. And horribly fun.

From: [identity profile] rynne.livejournal.com
*g* It's probably a good thing that y!m doesn't notify me of comments with a gmail account, as I think it would completely whack out *snicker*.

You're probably going to be comment spreeing for awhile if you want to be #100 :p.

Date: 2004-06-19 01:37 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] immortalis.livejournal.com
See, I figure I can get the ball rolling with these and by the time I wake up tomorrow, the numbers will be higher but not that high, and therefore I'll be able to get to my goal more easily.

From: [identity profile] rynne.livejournal.com
Or if higher than 100, there's always the next hundred mark to shoot for.

Am going to be gone most of tomorrow (until like nine pm or something), so I won't be able to aid anyone in spamming me (and I almost put smapping there :p).

Date: 2004-06-19 01:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] immortalis.livejournal.com
... okay, "smapping" is the coolest word ever. Say it aloud. Smapping. You have to elongate the "s." Sssssssssssmapping. Ahahaha. But what does it mean?

Can you tell it's 4:45 on this coast?
