rynne: (oooh sparkly! (more thanks to xsynstar!))

If this isn't an occasion for the sparkly icon, I don't know what is...

Anyway, because I'm always up for some entertainment and comments *snicker*, if you'd like to participate in my version of the 1000-post meme (dude, when did I become such a memesheep?) currently making the rounds of my flist, you have two options.

1. Post something random. Maybe a link to a story you liked that we can subsequently squee over. A random comment is fine. Whatever works.

2. Comments round-robin. Take the beginning of this story and continue it.

It was a dark and stormy night. Remus and Sirius were at Remus's house, watching the lightning flash across the sky and listening to the thunder roll.

"Let's go outside, Moony," Sirius suggested suddenly, looking away from the window.

Remus blinked, taken aback. "But it's storming!" he protested.

"So?" Sirius asked, then grinned mischievously and darted from the room, heading for the front door.
Now your turn!

And as added incentive, I will write custom-ordered fic (as long as there is no Remus/Snape, Remus/Tonks, or James/Sirius requested) for whoever posts comment #1000. I will drabble for whoever gets comments 100, 200, 300, etc. Be sure to announce it, if you're the person with any of those comment numbers, as I'll probably miss it myself.

I can't find Total Eclipse anywhere, which upsets me as I really want to see it.

But more importantly... you've never seen VG? O_o!!!!!!

The video stores here don't stock it! *absolutely horrified at the video stores*

The one down here only stocks it in VHS, which is weird because South Florida is crazy liberal and we have a huge gay population. In Gainesville, which is insanely conservative except for the giant university there, they have the DVD. It's kind of funny that Gainesville is the size of my pinky, but has a much better selection at their one Blockbuster than all of the Blockbusters down here combined.

Reno...is the middle of nowhere. I don't even know what our political affiliation is as a whole, because dude, no one thinks about Nevada. (Except Bush, because he was just here trying to gain support *cackles*)

I always thought Reno was a fairly big city. Weird.

Our political affiliation is Confused. Some parts are really conservative, others are really liberal. Where I live is fairly liberal, so it definitely surprises me about the lack of controversial movies at Blockbuster.

Man, you should have attacked his bus. At least you don't live under the rule of two Bushes, though. Jeb is my governor. >

Reno is The Biggest Little City In The World. *snicker* We even have it on an arch downtown. But no, I can drive around the whole of it, using streets with stoplights and all, in under an hour.

I think some-parts-conservative, other-parts-liberal pretty much describes us too.

Didn't see any bus--saw his helicopter, though, towards the end of my interview.

His bus is funny and always makes me think of Jon Stewart. In big letters, it says, "Yes, America can!" To which Jon Stewart preceded with, "Can America go against the UN and invade other countries?" And it makes me laugh because Jon Stewart is amazing. Add him as number eleven on my smap list.

*snicker* (I seem to be snickering a lot...)

I can so think of replies to the "Yes, America can!" thing. Most of them completely inapproprite as well as impossible, being as America's a country and rather...inanimate.

It's like an eight ball. "Can America shag a donkey?" "Yes, America can!"

5:37 a.m. That should be taken into account when reading that.

We're so thinking along the same lines here.

"Can America shag an elephant?" "Yes, America can!"

Hey, America's screwing Democrats and Republicans anyway...

Ahahahahaha. So fantastic. America's screwing everyone.

"Can America run its economy into the ground?" "Yes, America can!"

"Can America make up false evidence that we should invade another country?" "Yes, America can!"

"Can America condescend to everyone possible? "Yes, America can!"

"Can America screw its own citizens over to make sure that they're "patriots"?" "Yes, America can!"

"Can America take a document used to give people rights and then make it take rights away from people?" "Yes, America can!"

Can't think think of other political things right now, so I'll just move right into impossibilities.

"Can America piss on itself?" "Yes, America can!"
