So I totally finished the Comp Sci paper this morning at five. Definitely not one of my better papers, but considering it's for a math class, that probably doesn't matter.

I updated my website! It's got a name now--I decided on "The Background Hum"--and a v. cool layout that lea_ndra made for me. *smooches Lea* Thanks, hun.

Also put up on the website are some SW 100-word drabbles (fifty of them, so far, all interlinking). Haven't posted them anywhere but the Jedi Council forums until now, so I doubt any of you have read them, but every single one of them takes place in the EU, so you probably wouldn't want to read them if you haven't read the books and/or don't like Luke/Mara Jade. :p

I really need to start my shackinup_sesa fic, since that's so far the only thing I need to write that has an actual due date--and one that's just over two weeks away, at that. I can write it, and I want to write it, but somehow I keep staring at a mostly-blank document and then going off to read fanfic. Rargh.

Anyway, two questions:

First, does The Boondock Saints have a soundtrack? Because if it does, I'm totally getting my parents to give it to me for Christmas.

Second, does anyone know how to use MS Pain(t) to resize pictures? Me = technologically pathetic, so I've got no idea. I also don't have any better program currently than MS Pain(t) to work with.

Ahh. I was going to comment and be all "Did I miss something? Mara Jade is who?", when I saw the read the books part of the sentence, and then commented anyway.

How are the books, btw? I've never read them, mostly because it seems like there are a million.

Ahaha. There totally are a million! Some are really good, while some are...ugh. I haven't read it, but a friend told me about this one where Luke fights a giant gold blob and decides to become one with it (or something) and Leia has to rescue him. o.O That scared me. (But it's actually sort of funny--at one of the biggest SW sites, there's a list of what the books would be rated, and this particular book is rated "an abomination". :p)

But anyway, some of the books are worth reading. I could send you some, if you like. The books that pretty much started off the post-RotJ EU, the Heir to the Empire trilogy by Timothy Zahn (which is also where Mara Jade is introduced) are pretty good.

AHAHA. The worst thing about it is that I've read porn like that. (Though it was ummm a sort-of Luke/Vader incesty fic and Leia didn't do all that good a job of rescuing. Wow, I'm a pervert. But then, you already knew that. :p)

I love the background! It's so amazingly gorgeous. But...um...I think with that image, a dark, rich green might sit better than the blue that you have (even though it's a very pretty blue!).

As for MS Paint, I've never tried it, but if Image>Stretch/skew?

I've already tried that--it expanded white space instead of expanding the picture.

Are you sure? Worked for me. I plugged in 200% instead of 100, and it stretched a picture I had opened.

I know changing under Image>Attributes just adds white spaces...but stretch/skewer works.

Ohhh! *lightbulb goes on* I get it! *playing around with stretch now* Told you I was pathetic with technology...thanks!

Also, changed the colors on the website. :) I think it looks much better now.

ad Boondock Saints Soundtrack) No, there isn't, no official soundtrack. But you can get it from the net, like on e-mule... shhhhhh *giggles* and you can burn it yourself, which makes a nice present, too.

BDS doesn't have an official soundtrack, but there's a zip of most of the tracks that goes around occasionally. i believe i still have it on my computer, it's on my ipod at least, i'll give a look for it later :)
