coincidences...
Jun. 6th, 2004 01:19 amBlah. Graduation parties are boring, especially when I knew like three people there, and didn't even know the person who held it very well (and have no idea why he invited me).
So I escaped that as soon as possible--and with a legitimate reason!--and went to my dance rehearsal, because dammit, we've really been sucking and the recital's in two weeks. So we rehearsed and got better, and then afterwards a bunch of us hung around, and you'll never guess what my teacher said.
"Have any of you seen the Harry Potter movie yet?"
And we all got into a discussion about HP and how PoA was so totally the best book and my teacher commented on how JKR said it was her favorite book to write (surprising me--my tap teacher keeps up with JKR's interviews? o.O), and I told everyone how much I like Professor Lupin (:D)...but really, if that wasn't the last place I would ever expect to participate in a Harry Potter discussion...
And then, for another coincidence, tonight at dinner my mom says that she wants to go see PoA next weekend. I was thinking, "Dude, this is so odd", because my mom doesn't care much about Harry Potter (when I told her it was Sirius who died in the fifth book--she asked!--she said "Oh, I thought it was someone important." *fumes* SIRIUS IS IMPORTANT!), and twice within the space of several hours, I get into a discussion about HP when I least expect it. Very odd.
On another incredibly odd hand, apparently there was a shooting yesterday in the place across from my dance studio, and then some trouble-making kid stole fifty bucks from one of the dancers. In the same day, I believe. That's just...sad. So much crime...>.<
But anyway, AIEEEEEEEE! :D:D:D Man That You Fear has been Niffled! ^__^ That has made me quite happy, seeing as it's apparently one of the more popular of my stories, and I'm happy for it.
So, as is obvious by this post, I will be continuing on as normal. Now to just finish replying to peoples' emails and then go to bed...
