Hoy es el Cinco de Mayo (todavía es el cinco de mayo aquí) y estoy tratando teclear en español porque es un día importante, pero no me es posible que tecleo todo en otro idioma, y ahora hablaré en inglés.

(Translation: Today is Cinco de Mayo (it still is the fifth of May here) and I am trying to type in Spanish because it's an important day, but I can't type everything in another language, and I will speak English now.)

Go ahead, laugh at my poor Spanish skills :p. I will blame errors on it being eleven pm and me being up since seven am and how I'm not thinking properly but I wanted to say something in honor of Cinco de Mayo, and...

*cough* Anyway, today's pervy_werewolf smut can be located here. Odd pairing though--Remus/Tom Riddle (no, it's not noncon) with some implied Remus/Sirius, but I really think it works for this fic and this concept. Lots of little nuances and possibilities to explore :). I think I'll submit it to FA once I tone it down a bit--can't get rid of the sex as important dialogue happens then, but I can be a bit less explicit...

And in other news, Massachusetts is legalizing gay marriage! Thanks gehayi for posting that article! :D I now expect an influx of people moving to Massachusetts so they can be all happy and legal and stuff. Too bad the state's so small...

Massachusetts is legalizing gay marriage!

Nooooot quite. :P Same sex marriage will technically become legal here on the 17th due to the state court decision that it's unconstitutional to deny the right to anyone, but state officals or whoever just went through a series of debates and ended up deciding on a bill that will be voted on in 2006 that said something like 'gay people can enter into civil unions and have that protection under the law, but cannot get married.'

But until, the right to marry can't be denied to ANYONE that wants it - although I'm not sure if the title will carry over if this bill is indeed voted in in 2006.

I quite Spanish this year after four years of taking it, and I remember next to nothing from that class. I'm so horrible at Spanish.
