Today was a good day. :D My test went well, and I'm pretty confident I got either an A or a high B. Also, a few weeks ago we'd had a short story due in my fiction class, and my teacher commented on both the draft and the final draft, but the comments on the first draft were like "is this literary? I want you to be writing literary fiction", while I'd thought the story pretty damn good (for a student work, at least). Then today I got her comments on the final draft, where she said that oh, she'd misinterpreted the story the first time she read it, and now that she saw what I was actually doing, her estimation of my story went way up. So that was awesome. :D And for my other classes, I also got papers back, and I got a B+ for one paper and an A on another, so I'm satisfied with those.

I think I might actually be able to do this college thing. Whoo! *g*

Also, my parents are visiting this weekend! This is the first time they have ever come to visit me during the semester, so that's nice. Tonight they took me out to dinner, and tomorrow we're going to go wine-tasting and to a movie, so I'm looking forward to that.

I also have NEW BOOKS from the library that I've never read before (I've finished all the new books I ordered *g*), which is always full of glee. So now I'm going to go read them. :D

See this? This is why I am a maths person. What on Earth does "literary" mean? Because I tend to associate it as having words, or something like that... XD
