rynneStarted getting Doctor Who S2 from Netflix today. Yay! I really like New Earth. I liked The Christmas Invasion well enough, but not as much as New Earth. Billie Piper was amazing, alternating between Rose and Cassandra. David Tennant was good too, but I thought Billie really stood out in that.
Also, I watched the outtakes and deleted scenes. And the outtakes, with the Cybermen in the park, and K-9? OMGSQUEESOCUTE. Ahahahaha. I love the way the first Cyberman just runs around the park, and then the next two play in the playground, and spin K-9 around the merry-go-round...eee. So adorable.

First, that bit at the end of TCI, with everyone out in thesnow ash.
The way they're all uncertain, then Rose sort of sidles up to the Doctor and totally resumes her regular practice of invading his personal space? SO ADORABLE. Eeee.
I wasn't that happy with how easily Harriet Jones got toppled, but I think the ease is more due to her speech on TV, rather than the Doctor's six words. I mean, they probably helped, but I think that plea for the Doctor to come help was...not really a good idea.
Song for Ten! I love Song for Ten.
Also, because I LOVE DAVID TENNANT'S SMILE:
SUCH A GORGEOUS SMILE.
Onto New Earth!
How totally cute is she right there? I love the hat. Billie also has a pretty great smile.
I love how they're hanging out on the Doctor's coat and talking about "their first date". They had chips! :D
When Cassandra wants to get a look at Rose's face, I'm amused by how she chants "FACE, FACE, FACE". Heee.
Does anyone have a screencap of the look on Rose's face right after the Doctor makes his "pink and yellow" comment? The one where's she's totally thinking "Did he just look down my shirt?" *g*
The Doctor says he likes impossible. REMEMBER THAT, DOCTOR. And remember how often impossible isn't. God, I'm so nervous about Rose in S4...
Doctor: GUH.
When he's saying "Still got it", I bet he's thinking Rose snogged me, woo! I wonder how disappointed he was that it wasn't really Rose... :p
Also, the way Cassandra!Rose stutters just after she snogs the Doctor? Hee. I loved that.
Regardless of Jack's comment at the end of Last of the Time Lords, I'm still sorta iffy on whether or not he's the Face of Boe. In some ways it makes sense, like why he tells the secret in Gridlock but not here--Jack knows that revelation happens with Martha, not Rose. But here, and in S1, they've mentioned "Boe-kind". Unless Jack changed species (a prerequisite to becoming a giant head in a tank?), I'm not sure how that could work.
I'm sure I had more thoughts, but it's getting late and I'm tired, and I can't remember them. :p

Also, I love the Doomsday music. It's so sad, but so beautiful! I've been listening to the DW soundtrack on repeat for the past few days, and I just love it. There are still some tracks I can't recognize immediately, but that one I learned pretty quickly.
