Can't resist anymore. Must buy Kingdom Hearts II. (Note to self: play Chain of Memories. Though does anyone know how important it is to have played CoM before playing KHII?)

Schoolwork? What schoolwork? Is that important, or something?

Tomorrow I register for fall. Also tomorrow I'm supposed to get a brand new book that I've never read before! Eee! *excited* Is anyone out there reading the Firekeeper books by Jane Lindskold? They're OMGSOGOOD. And a new one just came out, and I get it tomorrow!

Will also try to answer comments and Remix feedback tomorrow. If not then, Thursday, since Thursdays are free days.

There are only four and a half weeks of school left, not counting finals. How the hell did the semester go by so quickly?

I have Evanescence stuck in my head, from when one of my roommates was playing it hours ago. I don't even like Evanescence.

Off to read/write fanfic, and, eventually, do some actual work.

CoM explains in greater detail a few things in KH2, but my brother says that it's not necessary (he's played both and is about to beat KH2, he's on the final stages of level-building and collecting items). I can give you the basic CoM spoilers you might need to know for playing kH2 that he told me, if you really want.

That'd be great. :D I have CoM and will eventually play it (though it might have to wait til after finals), but I do like knowing what's going on.

Ack, sorry for delay.

Okay, for the record, if you have the KH2 strategy guide (all 98243758902473 pages of it XD), then there's a brief summary of CoM at the beginning.

Basically, all you need to know from CoM was that Sora, Donald, and Goofy, while searching for Riku, wind up in a place called Castle Oblivion. Sora starts losing his memories, everyone is trapped in crystals and cards, and this girl starts unchaining his memories. Sora meets a few Nobodies. The process takes about a year. After that year is about over, you wind up at the beginning of KH2. :D

Thanks! I don't get many strategy guides (even if I didn't like playing through games without hints, gamefaqs is free!), so I can't rely on that for a summary.

Sounds interesting, though. I really should play it sometime, when I've got more free time.

I got an Evanescence song in my head last night, so *naturally* I had to listen to the whole cd. I used to love them - still like them, but I acknowledge the cheese factor, believe me :P What a coincidence though, heh :)

Evanescence grates on my nerves, music and lyrics and all. *gnashes teeth* It's made worse by how many people in fandom use lyrics for songfics/titles/whatever. *sigh*

I've been meaning to pick up some Jane Lindskold books, for like, ever....but I'm stuck in a Star Wars fix right now. So that's basically all I've been reading:)

I definitely understand the Star Wars fix, but you should totally read the Jane Lindskold books. They're just...eee! Love them. :D

Fellow Kingdom Hearts fan? *perk perk*

Chain of Memories is actually not at all crucial before playing KH II. Nearly all of the worlds/characters (with the exception of Namine and the Nobodies) one goes through are already featured in KH I. All in all, Chain of Memories should just be treated as a bonus play (happy!time-killer for KHII). What it mostly does is offer a sneak peek of sorts at future characters and hints for KHII.

Though I have to say, the Riku!alternate version playable after defeating the main Sora!version was pretty snazzy. ;P
