Apr. 4th, 2006 09:53 pmCan't resist anymore. Must buy Kingdom Hearts II. (Note to self: play Chain of Memories. Though does anyone know how important it is to have played CoM before playing KHII?)
Schoolwork? What schoolwork? Is that important, or something?
Tomorrow I register for fall. Also tomorrow I'm supposed to get a brand new book that I've never read before! Eee! *excited* Is anyone out there reading the Firekeeper books by Jane Lindskold? They're OMGSOGOOD. And a new one just came out, and I get it tomorrow!
Will also try to answer comments and Remix feedback tomorrow. If not then, Thursday, since Thursdays are free days.
There are only four and a half weeks of school left, not counting finals. How the hell did the semester go by so quickly?
I have Evanescence stuck in my head, from when one of my roommates was playing it hours ago. I don't even like Evanescence.
Off to read/write fanfic, and, eventually, do some actual work.

Basically, all you need to know from CoM was that Sora, Donald, and Goofy, while searching for Riku, wind up in a place called Castle Oblivion. Sora starts losing his memories, everyone is trapped in crystals and cards, and this girl starts unchaining his memories. Sora meets a few Nobodies. The process takes about a year. After that year is about over, you wind up at the beginning of KH2. :D

Date: 2006-04-07 02:45 am (UTC)Chain of Memories is actually not at all crucial before playing KH II. Nearly all of the worlds/characters (with the exception of Namine and the Nobodies) one goes through are already featured in KH I. All in all, Chain of Memories should just be treated as a bonus play (happy!time-killer for KHII). What it mostly does is offer a sneak peek of sorts at future characters and hints for KHII.
Though I have to say, the Riku!alternate version playable after defeating the main Sora!version was pretty snazzy. ;P
