Here's a meme that most writers on my flist appear to have done. :p Not sure I can think of ten things that I consistently do, but eh.

You know you're reading a fic by Rynne when...

1. There are dashes all over the place. ALL OVER THE PLACE. And lots of commas and semi-colons.

2. The sentences are long and convoluted. Unless it's been betad and my beta told me to chop them up. :p

3. People think. A lot. Hopefully not boring thinking, but...lots of introspection.

4. Description all over the place, settings and emotions and the whole shebang. I love imagery.

5. If there's sex, it's vanilla, and it's between people who have an emotional connection of some sort. Most often it's love, or will develop into love. Only in the two fics I've written that have consent issues is it something other than (healthy) love.

6. Sentences often begin with conjunctions.

7. Third person omniscient? What's that? I do third limited past, some third limited present, some first past, rare first present and rare second past/present, but I can't do third omniscient at all; when I'm in someone's head, I'm in that person's head.

8. People sigh. A lot. Their eyes also widen, narrow, open, and close a lot.

Eh. Can't think of anything else, though if someone else can, you're welcome to mention it in comments.

Also, I posted two fics last night, and neither of them have any comments so far. *sigh* I realize my flist (or rather, my f-of list) is more HP than SW (and I promise, there will be more HP soon!), but it wouldn't be so depressing if at least one person commented...

Ooh, good meme. I think I'm probably guilty of all those, too. Well - guilty isn't the right word... hmmm...

And I'd have commented, but I had to print it off and read it in whilst sat on the floor of my flatmates room watching her turn a funny blue colour. If I'm going to have to do that a lot, she could at least put a phoneline in there so I can check my LJ inbetween giving her a prod and making sure she's still breathing.

(Don't mind my morbid humour - I'm just tired.)

As for commenting, at least on the Padme one, I know that I usually check TFN before I check my LJ, so I just commented there first. I did really enjoy it, though.

And I do appreciate you reviewing there! (Especially since only two people, including you, have. :p) I don't think there's anyone on my flist who posts fic on TFN forums, but I usually comment on LJ if possible.

Ahaha. *g* I appreciate it, but don't if you don't feel comfortable with it. I'm almost uncomfortable with it, and I'm writing it! It's just...a bit messed up. :p I am a bit surprised, though, that the first SW sex I write wasn't Luke/Mara...

I don't blame you. :p I'm still amazed I'm writing it, but I get the weirdest plot bunnies sometimes, and it was a request...*shrugs* But I've not read any Luke/Vader before now, and I doubt I'll read any after I finish the fic. I much prefer them being familial. :p

I didn't say never! *g* Doubt is different. And I totally don't already have another L/V plot bunny, really.

Though Kingdom was actually pretty fun to write (I'm almost done with the last chapter), I really do prefer them being familial. :) I will read/write/beta/etc incest, but it's not one of my favorite things.
