So, S4 finale in three days. I wasn't into DW in the lead-ups to the previous finales, nor have I ever been deeply involved in other ongoing TV shows, but this week has been rather reminding me of the week leading up to Potterdammerung. XD

I've read some of the speculation/theories being banded around, including ones that have been branded as spoilers but that I've only previously seen as just theories. I hope they are not spoilers, but that's about as much detail as I feel like going into. I have no real speculation for the finale--there are some general things I'd like to see, but those are mostly because I think the storyline demands them, and I've talked about those often enough in the past. Anything I could talk about prior to the finale would be just me explaining why I'd be angry if certain theories happened, and I don't want to talk about that. If they actually happen, I'll probably rant about them, and if they don't, I won't have worried about it too much.

I will say one thing about what I want in the finale, but this is a casting spoiler, so right now I'm more anticipating this than hoping for this.

I finally got around to getting some icons of Classic Who. :D And speaking of, I'm watching The Sea Devils right now.

Am I the only one who finds the Master boring? *sigh* He's just...so straightforward and predictable! The Simm!Master a bit less so, but even he is quite reliably megalomaniacal--just, you know, more insane. He's most interesting in how he makes the Doctor react, but really only Ten, since Ten is so messed up from the Time War. Frankly I find the way the Doctor interacts with the Brigadier far more interesting.

I've been watching Classic Master serials, trying to find him interesting, but inevitably his bits of the serials are the ones I find most boring. Maybe I just haven't seen enough serials.
