Goodbye, darlings. (Yes, I'm gone again!) Tomorrow I'm leaving for Mexico--Cabo to be precise--and AHAHAHA YES WARMTH SHALL BE MINE! (It was snowing last week. *indignant* The first day of spring, and it snowed. Bahhhh.)

Turnabout is up on FA now. Review, please?

I hate my printer. I'm not going to have my laptop with me, and while there's internet cafes I doubt I'll be spending all that much time in them, so I was printing out [livejournal.com profile] mousapelli's "So You Want to Transfigure Yourself a Rock Band" to bring with me. My printer is old and it took half an hour to print out twenty pages (I put it in smaller font), and as it was printing, I was continuously nervous about a parent or sibling coming in and reading what I was printing. I hope they don't try while we're on the trip, but five days without R/S smut is five days too many.

All comments and emails will be answered when I get back, on Saturday.

I'm applying to get a job at Barnes and Noble and I'm not quite sure how to feel about it. I'm not thrilled about retail, but there aren't many other options for someone my age, my mom is requiring me to get a job, and hey, if I have to work somewhere, it might as well be around books. Employees do get discounts, don't they?

I love video games. A LOT. I want more of you to have played Final Fantasies VII and IX so I can squee about fics in those fandoms at you. *winks at [livejournal.com profile] louve_mae, who kindly read the FFVII script so I could squee at her* But I've just been playing a new game in IX (well, relatively new. I started it about a week and a half ago and finished it four days later, and now I'm just getting everyone to level 99 and beating all the optional bosses and so on (Ozma is a pushover, btw)), and now I am just FILLED WITH LOVE for this game and these characters and yay. IX is my favorite video game ever and I just love it liek whoa and even more yay.

Okay, time to shut up and start packing. Ta, all!

Oh, I would absolutely LOVE a job at a bookstore. *really needs a job in general*

Have a great trip! :) <3

Yeah, a bookshop job would rule.

Do you play video games besides RPGs? Like adventure games or fighting ones?

I have a fake Final Fancy (phonetically) VII poster on my bedroom wall of Cloud (with an extra huge lower body as compared to upper) on a motorcycle; that is hilarious and cute anyway. (The logo reads 'Final Fantsy VII'.)

I love how you are so anal in your FFs, because usually I won't have the patience to get everything perfect.

FFIX is also the best IMO because it is dead funny and the plot, characters and music rule. Graphics aren't so important to me. Ozma was, in hindsight, really not as difficult as I'd thought. Plus, I absolutely loved the ending for IX. When you see it, could you tell me how the words go again, because I forgot and sources do not concur. Something about neither cloud nor squall shall separate us?

Are there any good fic journal comms for any and all RPGs made by Square and/or Square-Enix, or do you do all your fic sourcing on ffnet? Also, do you know of any news to do with FFXII or Advent Children?

Have fun there, though you won't read this till late!

I actually have more other games than RPGs--mostly action/adventure, which is my favorite genre after RPG. I've also got a few racing games, and a fighting game or two, though just like Super Smash Bros. (Which is fun!) But you know how my favorite game is FFIX? My second favorite is Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, so I definitely don't just play RPGs.

And hee, I like being anal. It's my way of prolonging the fun of the game.

The line is "Neither cloud nor squall shall hinder us", which I just quoted from memory, yo. I've got so much of the ending of that game memorized...

Most of my fic source is ff.net, yes. There's crap, of course, but there's also good stuff, and there's far greater quantities than any other archive I know of...

What's genre is Legend of Zelda?

I have now memorised that line. =D

All the LoZ games (I think there are ten of them so far, though another's coming out this year) are action/adventure. They're produced by Nintendo--the first two are for the NES, the third, sixth, seventh, and tenth are for GameBoy, the fourth and eighth are for N64, the ninth for GameCube, as is the one coming out this year.

They're so much fun. I love Link (the main character) nearly as much as I love Zidane. :D

Never worked in a bookstore, but I have worked with food. *DEATHSMASHEVILSMASH*

Be one with the employee discount :)

Heh. I refuse to work with food, because I know that I'll get enormously tired of it, and probably sooner rather than later. At least I know I won't get tired of books...

This is the third time I'm applying for a B&N job, and I'm having a terrible time of it because I have no retail experience. WOE.

However, I wish you much luck.

I have no retail experience, but I've got book experience--I interned in a library for about seven months, and had previously volunteered in one for about six before that. I hope that experience will be good enough...
