*is shivering*
Feb. 8th, 2005 11:18 pmSeveral times a day (starting at 6:05 am when my alarm goes off) I ask myself why I don't get more sleep.
I then answer myself: there's too much going on at night for me to waste half of it sleeping.By "too much going on" I don't mean reading fanfic, really I don't...
I want to be at Puget Sound right now. How many of you are surprised?
I am also still freezing, despite several layers and actually lying under the covers of my bed. I don't usually take my laptop to bed with me. I actually leave it on my desk unless I'm going on a trip and can't bear to be parted with it. These are extenuating circumstances, because it is bloody cold. As soon as it is possible, I am moving somewhere where cold and snow are virtually unknown*.
In other news, Japanese grammar is really. bloody. complicated. And when I ask questions about sentence structure and why it's this and not that, my teacher tends to get a bit flustered (though I'm not surprised, as English is her second language and she sometimes has trouble thinking of the correct word for something), so I'll probably just take classes on Japanese grammar sometime in college. Cause, you know, grammar's bloody interesting, whether it's my native language or not. And I like knowing how it works. It's so cool. *g* *is a total geek*
*And that is not California

I get so little sleep, and then I'm exhausted at school, and people are like WHY??? And basically it's because if I go to bed at say, 10, I feel that's 2 hours of wasted time. You know? But then on weekends I sleep in til noon which wastes even more time, so that kinda kills the argument. But I have this exact issue. And quite often it is indeed fanfic... although last night it was working on a music vid (I'm such an amateur). I tell people that I'm working all the time (it is, after all, senior year and I go to "psycho school") but it's really me just wasting time on all the wonderful fandoms. I'm such a loser but you know what? It makes me happy. Much more happy than the people at my school do. o.O COLLEGE COME SOONER! PLEEEASE!
