George Bush: Human life should not be bought or sold as a commodity. (Or something along those lines)

My twin: Too late.

I wonder how many times he's going to say "terrorist" or "protect marriage" in this speech.

All the clapping is getting to me.

ALL THE CLAPPING! You know, after about 3 standing ovations I started counting them, and there were THIRTY-TWO by my final count. And I kinda zoned out for parts of it so I missed some. That's over one standing ovation every two minutes!

Sample of the cause of one:
"Hi, I'm George Bush"
*Everyone leaps to their feet* YAYYY! WOOHOOOO! YOU ROCK!!!

The gay marriage thing was basically snuck in there very subversively. That almost made me even more mad than if he had pontificated on the subject for 10 minutes.

Also, he made no concrete descriptions of any plans he had. Instead, he said "I'd like to make the world perfect. Wouldn't you?" Welll... YEAH. But he didn't once explain HOW he was going to bring around this utopia.

I only watched this because it was an assignment for history.
Ugh.

And no, you don't know me :P I friended you for your R/S reclist *grins*
