According to my AP Government teacher, Nevada, and more specifically, Reno, has the most political campaign ads in the whole United States.
Going by how often I hear those ads on the radio as I drive to school (a ten/fifteen minute drive, mind), I'm not surprised. Though dude, Reno is pretty much nowhere...it's not even the second biggest city in Nevada anymore.
Seven am classes are going to kill me, I'm sure. I already barely just staved off a migraine (first week of school!), and the only thing that's different between this year and last year (aside from more time to relax due to less classes) is getting up at six am in order to be at school before seven. And dude, migraines are so not fun.
I'm going on a hike tomorrow. I hate hiking. A lot. And Kaiden says that this hike is going to be our class this week, rather than an actual class with sparring and stuff (yay for sparring!).
Three day weekend. *dies of happiness* And I can sleep in. To at least eleven. A full five hours more sleep than during school days. But this is my last year...and then college, probably in Washington, and ohhh that will be perfect.
Assuming I am not dead from hiking and can finish it, expect smut tomorrow. Entirely plotless smut. Plotful smut will come later, as will stories completely sans smut, but right now I want PWP, dammit.
Mmmm. Anyone wanna rec me some good (R/S) PWP? I will purr at you like a contented kitty, I'm sure.

Baby's on Fire (http://www.livejournal.com/users/auburn_crimson/18884.html) is a wonderful PWP-ish scene in which Remus and Sirius do what they do best... at a concert. It's great fun...

The whole sequence from Skye's death up to the most recent one with Peter hitting up on Lily have been more and more devastating. It's kind of amazing--because the FB series had a sort of AU feel to it, and all of the sudden it turned the corner from not-quite-fitting but being brilliantly entertaining to making perfect sense. Camp comedy to tragedy. Remarkable.
I'm not that much of an R/S fan, and I love B's fics, Which says something. :nods:
