Apologies in advance for the RL post, those of you who are here for fandom (most of you, I presume), but...I got my results for my AP tests today. I passed all of them, despite absolutely minimal study! :D

Spanish: 3
US History: 4
English: 5

Eat that, Mr. Gilbertson! Now you have to live up to your promise of giving an A to anyone who got a four or a five in History! *exults*

And a five in English! *squees* (Five is the highest possible score, for any who don't know) It is what I thought I might get, as English is my strong point (no, really? :p), but I didn't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed. But...YAY FIVE YAY! *acts like hyper teenager*

I expected the three in Spanish (oh God, I put Snapish the first time. *facepalm* Depths of obsession...), considering I didn't do my homework three-quarters of the time (little enough that my teacher marveled whenever I did...), hardly ever studied for the quizzes, and was hovering on the edge between B and B- in the class. Still managed to pull off a pass, hah!

The four in History I hoped for, but did not expect. I was pretty sure I passed (despite never paying attention in class, which, in a lecture-based curriculum, is sorta bad...), but I thought it might have been a three, but I got a four! :D *dances*

Also, I had my first real day of work today. And I saw my schedule for the rest of my time working at that branch, and gah! Two hours of shelving books every time I come! *wibbles* I hate shelving books. I know it's necessary, but I bloody hate it all the same. Especially in the children's section, where the shelves are designed for people half my height or less, so I have to crouch or kneel down to shelve, which isn't exactly easy on sunburned and bruised knees...-_-;

But the rest of the time was interesting. I worked in the back room checking in books and getting holds ready and stuff with the others, and dude, I like my coworkers. So many people I know who have jobs complain about their coworkers, and mine are cool. But then, they are librarians...*g*

Now to finish up the birthday fic for [livejournal.com profile] musesfool and continue working on the fic for [livejournal.com profile] crossgenathon, and write Percy/Ginny for [livejournal.com profile] sincelastjuly because I promised...look, you did get some fandom in there! :p

Congratulations! Which English is that? (Lit or lang?)

I can't wait to get my scores, I took art history, bio and studio art. I'm 90% confident for 5's on bio and art history, but studio art worries me somewhat. I'm sure that I passed, but just the "with what" part.

Language--I'll be taking the Lit one next year *g*.

My school doesn't offer anything interesting like art history or studio art, much less AP tests on them :p. But good luck on getting all fives! ^_^

Thanks! Our school doesn't offer AP English Language. I guess it's a trade-off.

WOOT! Congratulations! ^_^ And I heard that the Spanish one was massively painful. In fact, even the Spanish teacher at my school (which is a really competitive school, btw) said anyone who got over a 2 deserves high praise. *glomps* Go you!

Heh, once the date for AP scores passed, I started to feel this little panicky voice in my back. I actually had to sit there for five minutes before I mustered up the guts to open my envelop. Flashes of my nightmare kept popping up...-_-;;

Glad to hear APs went so well for you!

And then you get two fives. *g* Congrats on that, by the way!

The Spanish one actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Well, aside from the essay. My teacher gave us a bunch of topics throughout the year, and we wrote several essays in class, but they were all on easy topics like school or hobbies or family. She told us that that kind of topic was what we could expect. The one on the test? Whose responsibility is the well-being of the citizens, the government or the individuals? !!! A topic like that, in an essay in a language not our first?

On the other hand, I think that essay might have been what made my grade. *g* Essays usually are :p.

Congradulations!!! that's so cool. I don't have to face the AP till next year, but I've started my first AP class this summer, and my teacher keeps saying "the AP folk"s this, and "the AP folks" that...
