You know, in general, Nevada is a pretty crappy state. It's really not meant for anyone under 21, considering the main income is from gambling and the casinoes, and that we're amazingly high on the whole drunk driver thing. And it's a bloody desert with too much sagebrush, but anyway. Sometimes Nevada does have good things. Like this program that my parents signed me up for called Driver's Edge, and where I spent about five hours today. They say they're trying to teach us how to drive--not just pass the driver's license test, but to know how to really drive a car. All the instructors are professional drivers, mostly racers, and they taught us things like skid control and various other things, things that I certainly did not learn in driver's ed (God, driver's ed was the most boring class I've ever taken. The teacher's name was amusing though--Mr. Person. No lie, his name really was Mr. Person *snicker*).

So yeah. Nevada does have some good things.

Except that I got sunburned. Blah. And my worst sunburn in quite a long time, really.

And, erm. Apparently I've been friended by 150 people now, which I feel is frankly amazing. So hi, new people! I would say the 150th person could ask me for a drabble, but I haven't finished the ones from 100 yet. *sigh* I need to do that. Er. Once I have more time. Blast it, why do I have less time in summer than I did during the school year? *grumbles*

Starting reading Night Watch this morning, and finished reading it about two hours later. :D:D:D I *heart* Sam Vimes. There was a depressing lack of Carrot, but the abundance of Vimes (times two!) made up for it. Now, er, what's next in the Watch series? *sheepish grin* I never can remember...I'm reading The Truth now, but I think I'll finish it fairly soon, and I want more Pratchett!
