GOOD things

The first good thing that happened today is that I am now a registered student at UNR, with a student ID, a UNR email address, a class, and everything. :D:D:D I made it into Japanese! *dances* Of course, I'll probably be the youngest person there, but now I can finally take the class that I've wanted to take since I was fourteen and Reno High fired our Japanese teacher (stupid school *grumbles*). And my mom did wake me up at nine am to ask me for my password and social security number, but now I'm registered, so yay!

The second good thing is that I no longer have any viruses on my computer! Some guy came this afternoon to check our big computer, and he looked at mine too, and apparently there were 21 viruses o_O. But my little sister (who downloads things indiscriminately) had even more, and she hasn't even had her computer half as long as I've had mine. But all the viruses are finally gone, which is definitely a good thing.

Now maybe I can finally get some writing done without my computer randomly freezing on me. I've got that fic for crossgenathon due on the 21st (gonna have to figure out what to do then, as I'm not going to be here on the 21st), and a birthday fic for musesfool on the 15th, and of course my R/S FQF fic, but thank God that's not due for awhile...

Meh. Will get writing now. :)

Congrats! You lucky, lucky person, you! I've wanted to take Japanese, but so far have not been able to. And a clean, virus free computer is always a triple plus!

*g* Thanks. I've been wanting to take Japanese for a long time, and was going to two years ago, but then my school decided to stop offering it...*sigh* Figures that I could only start taking it in college.
