I got my driver's license a year ago yesterday. That somehow feels really really odd.

I went shopping today to get clothes appropriate for my job. Dude, I have a job. A real job. Though what it's going to do to my online schedule...*sigh* I hope I don't have to cut back on things here.

I no longer have stitches in my mouth, and so it is easier to chew. On the downside, I have to squirt warm water down the holes in my gums where the wisdom teeth were after every meal and before I go to bed for like two weeks or something.

Why don't days have more hours, huh? There's so many things I have to do and not enough time to do it, grr.

So nocturne_alley ended? I knew so little about it that it doesn't really make a difference to me. RPGs and me just don't mix, I don't think. Following them is bloody hard, and I daresay playing in them would be harder.

Well, I used to play in a couple of roleplays, and I think it takes a particular kind of person to do that. *makes a face* Needless to say, I'm not that kind of person.

It is interesting to watch, sometimes.

I used to watch nocturne_alley from time to time, so I'm sort of shocked a bit. I know just enough to be shocked, I think.

I've done roleplays too--no LJ ones, of course, as I haven't really been on LJ all that long, but I had this one in RL, and one on these forums I went to a long time ago, but they just sorta...ended, without resolution. And as I didn't know much about nocturne_alley, I didn't really understand that that last thing Harry posted, about how there was nothing interesting about a scar that wasn't there or something like that, was the end until someone told me.

But the odd looking syringe thing they give you to squirt the water into the holes is neat!

I had to do that in a community bathroom, and it was the most embarrassing thing ever. People would walk in and give me the oddest looks, and I wanted to assure them that no, I wasn't crazy -- I'd just had surgery. It was the same with my tattoo when I had to randomly wash the back of my neck twice a day.

My mom took away my syringe after I chased her around the house squirting water at her. Adult, huh?

And RPGs aren't hard to keep up with so much as they take over your soul and it's keeping up with RL (like school and sleep and meals and whatnot) that becomes hard. :P
