...I have way, way, waaaay too much to do, blast it.
Oh, and to let you all know...I hate my computer. It's a piece of shit. Especially when it freezes when I try to open documents. Gar.
My coder/dinger training with Plumeria (
aome, I think) is going to be on Sunday, as neither of us have enough free time before then to do it. Blast bloody time zones. Or just blast being Pacific time zone, as nearly everyone else isn't, making for some bloody awkward timing.
And, sigh. One of my eMentor shifts seems to have disappeared from the database, and I'm sure I entered it in. Stupid computer--I bet it ate it.
After reading
saeva's essay in reply to that post, and especially the edit that she posted in
hp_essays, I'm really tempted to ask about the plausibility of James/Sirius in canon, or at least that can be inferred from canon, but considering the response to my last discussion post, which I still have not been able to reply to quite yet, I don't think I will. Maybe another time, after spring semester's over. SO DON'T ANSWER THAT AS I DON'T HAVE TIME TO ANSWER YOUR COMMENTS!
Gah. Way too much to do and so little time to do it--must not spend so long online or I will die of overwork very soon. Why did I take on so much again?

Date: 2004-04-26 10:36 pm (UTC)There's one line in the pensieve scene in OotP (when James was playing with the snitch; something along the lines of "Harry got the impression that James would only stop if Sirius asked him to") that put Sirius/James into my head, and to be honest the wording made it sound as though James was the one with the feelings for Sirius, not the other way around. That scene also shows the way he feels for Lily, but I think he also had more-than-brotherly feelings for Sirius.
This post
notbrought to you by the fact that I want to slash James with everyone these days, and the fact that Lora linked me to the best James/Lily/Sirius picture I've ever seen. :Dno subject

Date: 2004-04-26 10:46 pm (UTC)Oh! Speaking of community! (I was going to mention this a few days ago and completely forgot.) OT3 has been dead recently. *pokes it* What would you think of doing challenges? I haven't really thought of topics, but just the idea in general?

Date: 2004-04-26 10:55 pm (UTC)I've noticed the deadness of OT3. Challenges would be cool, though I hope we'd get a better response than I did for the cookie challenges with the Regulus group...

Date: 2004-04-27 07:57 pm (UTC)You haven't asked, but I'll spill anyways.
I would say there's almost 100% chance of it happening if it weren't for the fact that James was obviously in love with Lily and married her. Now, I know that's not concrete evidence that nothing happened, but it shows that at least James would've been a bi.
Like someone said earlier, the line "Harry got the impression that James would only stop if Sirius asked him to" also put the thought of J/S in my head. Being best friends is one thing...but what they have has always seemed deeper.
I've always been torn between R/S and S/J, and the only thing that makes R/S more likable for me is that I love L/J. But while Remus and Sirius' personality seem more match in canon, I find it believeable that J/S may have existed. In fact, it may have even existed until L/J started.
