The semester is over, and I did get my last paper in on time. Then I saw Legally Blonde, which was so much fun. Great adaptation. There were initially bits I had reservations about, but at the end I was just so happy with it. Good show to end my theatre season in London.

Spent the weekend in Cardiff, home of Doctor Who! We watched the newest episode live in Cardiff, which was an awesome experience (especially with another rabid fan right there), even if I was not the most enthused with the episode. I thought it was a nice idea, and there were parts I liked, but I think it had some execution issues and there were parts I did not like. But that was actually only the second episode of the season I've seen so far, so I think I'm reserving opinions.

[livejournal.com profile] shinyopals, the Ianto Memorial Wall is still there. XD It made me laugh, but my friend wished she'd known it was there before we arrived so she could have brought something to put on it. I laughed more. :p

I'm in Berlin now! I've had a nice day, even though this is my first time by myself in a country where I don't speak the language. I've been doing fine so far, though, and it's been cool seeing the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz and bits of the Berlin Wall. I have another two days here, then one in Hamburg with [livejournal.com profile] heart_of_man, and then she and I are going to Munich for two days, and then I move on to Austria!

To be fair, I cried more tears over Donna's fate than I did about most RL things in the last few years. I JUST FEEL GLAD I NEVER MADE A SHRINE.

Crying is an indication the writer is doing his or her job right, really. I think what puts it over the top for me is the preface of "I'm a reasonable person but" and the putting it up on the shrine. :p

Did you get the mail I sent you last week, with instructions and stuff? I'd rather make sure you had so you don't end up clueless in Paris! ;)

Yes, I did! Sorry, I meant to email you back, but the past week has been ridiculously busy and tiring. It sounds very clear!

He was appropriately skeevy and about as unlike the Fifth Doctor as possible. :p Seriously awesome show, though. :D
