It snowed again. Gah! The snow from a month and a half ago had only just melted, too. There's less of this stuff so it shouldn't hang around so long, but I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be more before I leave. *sigh*

I just started watching Criminal Minds. This show watches very like reading a John Douglas book, and I'm very sure that Agent Gideon is supposed to be based off him. But John Douglas is one of my favorite nonfiction authors, so the similarities are a definite draw. I think this will be my kind of show. :)

Oh, Criminal Minds! I actually really love that show. I'm a giant Hotch fangirl. I've never read John Douglas, though. :S

I am becoming fond of Hotch myself, along with the others in the team. :)

If you're interested in profiling, you really should read John Douglas. He's been used as the character model for Agent Jack Crawford in Silence of the Lambs, and for various other TV profilers, and his books are really interesting, if you can get past the subject matter (as I assume anyone who watches a show like Criminal Minds can).

I APPROVE OF THIS.

Although if you don't fangirl Garcia, WORDS WILL BE HAD. XD

Hee, Garcia's pretty awesome. I am very fond of the entire team so far, but I'm definitely enjoying Garcia.

Sadly I don't have a CM icon

Criminal Minds rocks!

Just so you know, the later seasons are... different that the first ones, but not in a bad way. They're just structured differently. At least it seems that way to me.

It seems like a really good show so far!

Different in what way?

Well, for example, there's this thing they do in the early seasons in almoset every episode where the profilers, when they're explaining the profile, will sort of end up in the profile, with the scene around them playing out. In the more recent seasons, they don't do that anymore.

There are also a few casting changes, but they didn't have that much effect.

I watch the newest episodes, and it's still a really good show! I hope you like the rest of it!

Ah, I'm not particularly attached to that, so I don't care if it goes away. I was thinking big format changes or something, but this doesn't seem that significant, so I don't think my enjoyment will be impacted. :)

I know this is the content of, like, every other comment I leave you, but thank you for getting me into "Doctor Who"! It seems like everyone I meet here is a fan, and it's so nice to have a common interest with new people. I had a long chat with a girl about it earlier this week, but it was kind of odd, because she was a huge Stephen Moffat fan - after watching the series with you, I kind of forget those people exist. :)

Heh, you're welcome. :p I'm not surprised it's big in Europe, though hah, I am pretty excited to be going to the source. :D

Steven Moffat...fan?

Does...not...compute...
