Got my grades yesterday. Three A-, one A, 3.75 GPA. Not as good as I was hoping, but it's still pretty good, so I'm pleased.

I heard on the news over dinner that Britain is having the worst winter in like a hundred years or something. Gah. I'm hoping they're exaggerating. But oh well if they're not--I'll manage.

Pretty much. The roads and transport are FUBARed. Hopefully it should be all right by the time you arrive :)

It better be, or I'm going to be irritated. But then, snow is still sticking on my street from a month ago, so maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up.

At the moment, my city has 4 or 5 inches with more forecast. The main problem is that the local councils are running out of road salt which makes pavements a wee bit hazardous. DO NOT WANT.

No, we really are. I've never known it to snow so persistently as this across country. Everywhere is closed. Even where I live, where the last time we had snow was four years ago because we're on the coast, is covered. No one can get to work.

What does the 3.75 bit of your marks mean? Congrats on the rest, anything with an A in shouldn't be disregarded lightly :)

3.75 is the grade point average--straight As would be 4.0, Bs 3.0, and so on. Not that I know why they chose those numbers, or how to calculate grades, but 3.75 is a pretty good GPA.

Bugger the snow. We get it more regularly where I live, but I've never liked it. *sigh*

We have, like an inch and a half of snow today, therefore EVERYTHING IS CLOSED. I am sure you'll cope. XD

An inch and a half? Oh noes! :p Is snow that unusual, then?

We most definitely are having the worst winter in a long long time. I live in an area that hasn't been as badly affected. We're about four inches under snow, the fell on that started as snow three weeks ago! : ) It's been a joy!! I'm dreading my fuel bills.....

We still have snow sticking on my street from the storm a month ago. As long as it's not more than a foot over there, I should be able to deal. XD
