I have peripherally paid attention to whatever's going on with LJ. I hope it's not very serious, because I just renewed my paid account for another year and I don't want that to be wasted if LJ implodes or something.

Still. During all the previous scares over the years, I've managed to collect other journals. I'm still rynne at GreatestJournal, JournalFen, and InsaneJournal, and whoever uses those sites is welcome to friend me there as well. I've never used them, and I don't intend to unless LJ becomes completely inhospitable. I've been too lazy to try and figure out how to migrate everything here to another site, but as it stands I don't even have my journal backed up, and I should probably do that soon. Just need to figure out how to do it on a Mac...

It's one in the morning and I haven't gone to bed yet for some reason, even though I have a headache. Maybe because I have a headache--I feel a bit too unsettled to sleep right now, though I'm not sure why.

I feel I should tell you that GreatestJournal went belly-up a few days ago.

Re: LJ, basically people are just flipping out unncessarily because SUP let a few people go (albeit in a crappy fashion) due to the economy. I don't think LJ is in any srs danger, but that's just me.

Oh, did it? I didn't know that. Oh well--never really used it anyway. :p

I'm glad you don't think LJ is in actual danger. I was hoping people were making a mountain out of a molehill, since people often do. :p

I don't know of you've seen this, but sheafrotherdon asked for help backing up her lj on a mac a few days ago, and from what I can tell, got some good answers. So, you might want to check that out. :)
