So yesterday velesia and I finally finished Doctor Who S3. I told her a bit about S4, which included some ranting about SitL/FotD, and I was inspired to create this picspam.

Because come on, what sort of army wouldn't be sensible enough to run away from this?

I don't know about you, but I'm completely terrified of men who get choked by plastic hands.

And because Ten is supposedly the Lonely God, have a bunch of him being dorky!

There are, of course many more caps I could have used. I really wanted Four's trying on clothes sequence from Robot in particular, but couldn't find it. I also couldn't find any of Two running away from an army. :p (I was thinking of him running away from the Cyberman army in The Invasion.) Three in his cleaning lady outfit trumps almost everything, though. :D

The Doctor does have his dark moments, but at heart he is a big dork who'd be far more likely to run away from an army than have it run from him.

THANK YOU FOR CLEANING LADY!THREE. I have heard much talk of him but never had the courage to actually go looking. XD (By the way, what serial is it from? I don't think I've ever found that out.)

This reminds me of nothing so much but this great poster I saw once. The caption was Tim Latimer's "He's like fire and ice and rage and the storm in the heart of the sun ..." speech, and above it was the Seventh Doctor making the MOST RIDICULOUS FACE EVER. I probably laughed for a minute solid. XD

Well, Rose would probably just give him her "you big adorable dork" face, and she and Astrid would probably understand since they've been in that kind of job, but the others might look at him and back away slowly.

Though if he really was The Lonely Cleaning Lady, I imagine that would only last until Rose showed up in her dinner lady gear and they got to geek out together. :p

*snickers* I have this image in my head where Rose is on one side in her dinner lady gear, the Doctor is in the middle with his cleaning lady gear and Astrid is on the other side in her serving girl gear. YES, YES ONE MILLION TIMES YES.

Armies run, my white fanny. He's a dork ! A nerd ! A geek ! An occasional dweeb ! He's punny. He's been known to dress like a clown. His geek fantasy is Charles Dickens. And I love him for all of that. I never liked (and never understood) the "armies run" line.

Don't you just know it. The Doctor is serious business and whole armies MUST flee his snapping is scary stuff. Unless it's a jam based culture I'm not sure I follow.

In fairness, what hurts the most is the idea that it's *true* because when he's his darkest, he's in the most pain and lashing out in hurt and fear. Then, yeah watch out if you get on his bad side, but I want to cuddle him and throw Rose at him to make him feel better.

In the commentary for BT, the director (I think--can't be arsed to look) said Chris *loved* that headlamp. Loved it. Kept it on as long as he could. Actors are dorks, too.
