I got a letter from UPS today, telling me that they're reinstating my biggest scholarship. OMFG THANK YOU. Now I get a total of $19,000 for the year in financial aid, which is more than half the tuition. That's...very good. :D I am extremely lucky in that my parents are willing to pay for all my college (meaning I will not have to worry about loans), but it makes me feel better to know that they don't have to pay as much as they otherwise would.

Now there another point to this post, and that is that I need a beta for my goin_my_way ficathon assignment. I do have a beta who's willing to do it, but this fic has sex in it, and she's not that comfortable with that, so I'd like to also have someone who is fine with betaing sex scenes. Bonus if you are comfortable with both Nine and Ten (though only Ten is involved in the sex :p).

Also, it's currently 9000 words, and I'm not quite done yet. I don't think it's going to hit 10,000, but, um, it might; it's already a lot longer than I first anticipated. I don't need it back until August 13, so you have time, but it's still pretty long.

So. Any takers?

It's a rather good private school, so it's pretty expensive. Just under $34,000 for the year. XD Still, $19,000 is a big help! :p

I would say yes, but we have an ominous number of proposals coming up at work and I'd hate to have to back out on you at the last minute.

Can you part it out and maybe have her beta the entire rest of it and have someone else beta just the sex?

I'd prefer not to do that, since one of the things I want an opinion on is how well the sex works in context of the rest of the fic. Still, it's something I can do if I get no other volunteers because of the length; thanks for the suggestion. :)

I'm at summer school until next Friday and I don't know how much Internet access I'll have until then but I'll beta for characterisation and tex sex.
