Just finished watching the first episode of Supernatural. I find it interesting, but not enthralling. Not yet, at least; that might change later. Anyway, right now, I like Sam better. :p

My parents are supportive of me dropping Japanese, thank God. Now I just need a drop code that works...

In the first few episodes, Dean comes across as the total idiot, but once you get to know him..? He's the most wonderful, deep, caring, intelligent, layered character anyone has ever written for TV.

I guess that's what I really like: the characters are layered.

I never got into Supernatural, personally. I've watched about... five or so episods, but I never sat down every week to follow it, just caught an episod here or there, which could explain why I never got hooked. I don't know. I read so much about it on my f-list, I feel like there's probably something I missed, but at the same time I have so many shows and so many fandoms already...

Also, it's great that your parents are supportive.

It's taken me a long time to get properly hooked on Supernatural. In fact, it really wasn't until the first episode of the second series that I got to that 'Hell, Yes!' point with the series.

I also started out liking Sam the most, but I gradually became a devout Dean fangirl. Not really sure when that happened...

Still, as mindless, spooky and damn good looking entertainment, I'd recommend keeping on with it.
