In honor of the day, I reread Good Omens. Mmmm, apocalypse.

But for most of today, I had a sense of Impending Doom about work. People scare me, especially if I mess something up and think I'm about to be criticized, and I kept thinking that was totally going to happen today. (I think the paranoia and increased sensitivity was more a product of my period than 6/6/6, though. :p)

Except that nothing went wrong! I didn't even get lost when delivering anything, which is a first, and I made $32 in tips, on a Tuesday night. I also only had to answer the phone (which I don't like doing) once, and I didn't mess up the order. And AHAHAHA one of my coworkers thought I was over twenty-one! He asked me to pour a customer a beer because he was too young, and I was like, dude, I'm only eighteen. XD No one's ever thought I was over twenty-one before.

So much for devil's day, or whatever it is. :p

Tonight, will totally answer comments, make my first rec for [livejournal.com profile] crack_van (doing Star Wars), and write more fic. Also, I want to meta a bit about writing, but that can wait. *g*

That's weird, you can serve alcohol at 18 here, even if you can't drink it for three more years. It's good that the job is going alright!

I so get your paranoia about work. Most days I'm terrified of messing up and being called by people to yell at me, like today (Anne-So passed by just as I was telling a customer that the number he wanted didn't answer well today, and she was like "Which number are you having trouble reaching?" and I thought "ohmygod, she's going to tell me I should investigate as soon as a number doesn't answer well")
