In exactly a month, on May 12th, I will be finished with my last final of spring semester. And then I will go home, and my parents will buy me a new computer, and it will have a DVD drive.

Then I will join Netflix and get the seasons of shows including, but not limited to: Firefly, House, Supernatural, Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, and whatever else my flist is obsessing over. I want to read all the great fic that is being produced for shows I've never seen.

Is there anything else I should definitely watch? Note that I have not regularly watched TV since...2000, I think.

ahaha ive totally been preparing a netflix list too. and getting a new computer!! and graduating!!! ahahaha, awesome. ill probably watch the dvds on a tv though :P but the list keeps grooowwwing.

hmm tv shows.. well.. im getting Sex and the city D: on netflix hahaha, dunno if that's your thing... also... Arrested Development is HILARIOUUUSS

I would watch the DVDs on a TV, if I didn't have sisters who would fight me for the TV. :p Just so much easier to watch things in my room...

I know nothing about Sex and the City, except that I can guess it has something to do with sex. :p

Nip/Tuck and Six Feet Under are two of my favourite shows ever. I love them both.

Also, when you get Netflix, you totally have to add me to your friends thing on it. Friends things on Netflix is SO COOL. You can see what all your friends have in their queues and everything else. I love it, ahaha.

Nip/Tuck is about two plastic surgeons in Miami (305 WHAT) and their crazy lives. SFU is about a family of undertakers -- so good. Best. Show. Ever.

Lost is pretty good sometimes, but I think it's just going to go on forever and get more and more confusing. I wish they'd fit it all into one season, but whatever. Scrubs is fun, and not too involving. I'd say Dr. Who, since people keep posting/freaking out/writing stuff, but I'm not sure it's available via Netflix.

Anyway, be sure to watch Firefly! It is so good!

One of my roommates is obsessed with Lost, and half my floor is obsessed with Scrubs. *g* I saw a couple episodes of Scrubs, but wasn't that interested.

I can be totally smug and say that I could go out and buy the DVDs tomrrow if I want to. For once the UK gets a show before the US does :D But £44.99 for a dodgy looking package. *wails* I got all seven season for not much more than that

I'm working on season one of Stargate SG-1, and I'm finding I don't like it as much as SGA. But that's probably because McKay is snarkier than Daniel, and SGA has cute a cute Czech scientist and a Scottish doctor to feed my accent kink.

Stargate SG-1! I love that show, and there are certain similarities between Daniel and our favourite Farmboy that I just squee over. I'd recommend SGA as well, even though i've only seen most of the first season, because Australian free-to-air TV hates sci-fi *pout*
