Oct. 30th, 2008 11:36 pmJesus bloody Christ, I want this bloody cough to go the hell away. I've been hacking ALL DAY. It feels like five minutes can't go by without me coughing.
Other than that, I'm feeling better. Especially now that I'm not so stressed out about this paper I had due tomorrow, because I emailed the teacher and told her I was sick and stressed, and she gave me an extension. Whoo! It seems a very little thing, but I'm actually rather proud of myself for that, because two years ago when I was having my mini-meltdown I was too embarrassed to tell my teachers when I couldn't handle something and therefore never got extensions and, well, failed half my classes. I'm always pleased at knowing I can handle things better now.
And the teacher of my earliest class tomorrow is also sick and canceled it, so I do not have to get up earlier than I normally would. Win!
I also have a tentative schedule for spring. Three 300-level classes (my first, actually) and one 200. Two Politics and Government, one Connections (a core requirement), and then American Lit I for my major. I'm a bit nervous about being able to handle the load, but I am a junior now and I'd have to start taking mostly-upper division courses soon anyway, and I am actually doing quite well this semester. But yeah. Bit nervy.
Wow, my shoulders are really tense. There's nothing I'd love so much right now as a massage. *sigh*
