Okay, so I was with a friend and not on the computer and checking the flist for two days. I come on for a bit, and I have to go back 360 entries in order to get to something I've read before. Skip 360 for just two days? Not on.
Anyway, I've made a small flist cut. Not that many of you, but they're people who either don't update very often, or whose entries I find myself skipping over. No offense to any of them, of course--I'm flattered that all these people have friended me, but I can't friend you all back and still have time for all the things outside of livejournal that I do.
*sigh* Still feel rather stupid about my lack of ability in using filters correctly; sorry,
heidi8.
I need to write something. Something titled "Only Time". Everyone, if I post and do not mention that I am working on it, please poke me. Enough people are waiting for it (dude, every time someone recommends it in "Help! I'm Looking For..."--which, aside from being slightly gratifying, is also slightly embarrassing--they mention that they want it to be updated) that I really want to finish it sometime. I know what I should write in it, but I've changed my view of the characters I'm writing about pretty radically since I last updated, and am not sure if I'll be able to satisfy myself in writing them the way I did before, if that makes sense...
I'm looking forward to going back to school. Does this make me insane? I mean, yes, I will have to get up at six am, but it will be my senior year, I will have only three/four classes when most of the rest of the school has six/seven, and when I'm done with this year...I'm done with high school. And that just makes me happy like you wouldn't believe (well you probably would, considering most of you are already out of high school and know what it's like to leave). Especially if I go to UW, like I'm leaning towards now, because there's so many more fandomy people in Seattle than in all of Nevada put together, probably...
And now I'm rambling. I should probably go to bed, being as I'm going to Capitola and then a concert at the boardwalk tomorrow. Plus, Olympics start! Does anyone know when they're doing the gymnastics? *g*
I will answer comments and emails when I have time. This may not be before Sunday, but I'll get to them then, at least. And then I can finally look at art again! *hates upon dial-up*
