So, in the past two weeks I write 29,000 words, and in the past two days I write one sentence. Doesn't that just figure?

I also got sick again, and lost my voice for two days. Very useful in a language class. (You can take that as being sarcastic or not; I'm not sure which it is either.)

Midterms are this week and school has been kicking my butt for the past several days. thistlerose, sorry I haven't gotten your fic back to you yet, but it should be within a few days.

And I've been thinking. I'm about 7/8 done with my SW fic (I've got 35,000 out of a projected 40,000), and I was wondering...since most of you are here for HP stuff, does anyone actually want me to post the fic (all eight chapters of it) here? I mean, it doesn't seem like many people read the first SW fic I posted (which isn't being accusatory--I know most of you are here for HP, and I'll get around to posting more of that sometime: I've got a couple nice R/S bunnies, which is good, but I don't want to write until I've finished this SW fic), and this new one uses people from the Expanded Universe (meaning beyond the movies), so I was wondering...how many of you would actually read any SW fic I posted here? (If I get no comments, I guess there's the answer to that.)

Anyway, time to go back to homework/studying.

If I recognize the main characters and can follow the plot from the minimal SW knowledge I have, I'll read it. (Sorry if that's not exactly helpful!)

I still think you should post it here, though. :)

And congrats on being nearly-finished with such a massive story! I hope you're inclined to write a R/S fic that large... :D

You probably won't, then. :p There are four main characters, three of which are in the movies (Luke, Vader, and the Emperor), and one of which, who is very important and will become more so in the third fic in the trilogy (yeah, this fic is a sequel to the previous SW fic I posted, and second in a trilogy) is from the novels.

I hope you're inclined to write a R/S fic that large... :D

I so would, if I had a plot bunny for it. :p Unfortunately, most of my R/S bunnies end up as one-shots.

Oh put it up, please, I'm dying for some good SW fic.

And while I dislike EU, I tend to prefer the characters in fic form, so I'll have to see to tell you what I reckon.

Heh. I think I actually dislike the EU as a whole, but there are specific bits (mostly Mara Jade and Corran Horn, as well as the further development of Wedge and the X-wing pilots) that I like and will put into my fic. This is all right cuz pretty much all of what I've written so far is AU. :D

(Did you read the fic I posted about a month and a half ago? The fic I'm almost done with is the sequel to that one.)

Oh noes! Not Mara Jade!

Sorry, but of all the EU, she is one of the things I like least. I don't mind Wedge and co at all, and don't know much about Corran Horn. But I think I can almost cope with AU.

:p Then you're not going to like my fic. Sorry. Mara plays quite an important part, and she'll be equally (at least) important in the third part of the trilogy.

But don't worry, not everything I write will have Mara in it, nor will all of it be AU. I've got one being planned out that's young Luke on Tatooine with Ben Kenobi... :)

I really should learn to temper my excitement about this, but I have no SW people on my friends list (at least not EU people), so . . . yes.
