First of all, What Really Happened (OR, How Aziraphale Learned to Stop Worrying and Start Loving the Fandom) by [livejournal.com profile] violet_quill. Don't tell me you thought LJ's downtime was a coincidence? Violet will convince you otherwise. *g* Crowley and Aziraphale...discuss certain things about the internet, with some cameos from [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge, [livejournal.com profile] daily_snitch, and more.

And! Give and Hazard by [livejournal.com profile] ariastar. It's Merchant of Venice fic! Shakespeare! [livejournal.com profile] marauderthesn, you especially need to read it--it's Bassanio/Antonio!

Everyone, go tell [livejournal.com profile] violet_quill and [livejournal.com profile] ariastar how brilliant they are.

ETA: And for Final Fantasy VII fans, Sunshine in Winter. It's just...Oh my God. Oh my God. You know, however much I love the HP fandom, it's always somehow FFVII that gives me my favorite fics, and this one has just automatically made it into the number two slot (note that number one is also a FFVII fic). This is just beautiful, and tragic, and so, so passionate, and just oh my God. If you're a fan of Yuffie and a fan of Vincent, you have to read this story. You just have to.

...Oh my God.

Whoo, I shall go read the GO and FFVII one.

So what's your #1 fav. fic?

A Long, Hard Road by [livejournal.com profile] twigcollins. It's the fic that converted me to being a Cloud/Sephiroth shipper, the single most angsty thing I have ever read, and I love it so much that I saved the entire thing (all 500,000+ words of it) to my computer, rereading it and correcting errors whenever I don't have the internet. *g* It has its flaws, but the story, characters, and descriptions just blew me away, and I adore it.

Hey, you remembered that I like Antonio/Bassanio! *feels very loved*

:D I just tend to remember that kind of thing...but isn't it a lovely fic? *g*

Ooh, ffVII rec. :D *bookmarks*

So, what's you're number 1 fic, then? Am very intrigued. :)

This fic just makes me happy, even as it makes my heart ache.

Ooh, I don't believe I've read that one... sounds great :D

Ack, shame I don't have my usb pendisk with me, otherwise I'd save it now to read later. ;_; Must return :D

(Oh, and that other FFVII fic you recced was excellent :) I'm really not usually a Yuffie/Vincent person in the slightest, but it was done so well you can't help but love the fic :D)

Though once you start it...do ignore the misspellings. I don't know if they're enough to stop you reading all together (she consistently spells Cetra and Heidegger wrong), but it's really a brilliant fic.

*g* Yuffie/Vincent was my FFVII OTP until I read A Long, Hard Road and was converted to Cloud/Sephiroth, and I still love it lots. Somehow I rather like the whole perky younger girl with brooding older man... (I like Auron/Rikku, too, though I don't remember if you played enough of FFX to really know anything about them...)

*uses appropriate icon* :D

Oh, wow. I've now read 16 chapters, and it's so addictive. Wonderful fic! <3 (Yeah, the misspellings got to me a bit... but they're easy enough to ignore after a while)

XD Really? Heh, Auron/Rikku.. blah. :P (Yeah, I finally completed FFX a while ago :D) I don't really object to Vincent/Yuffie as such - it's just I was much more of a Cid/Vincent person... :P

Aah, but the Cloud in this fic is awesome. :3 *loves*

... I can't wait for Advent Children. :D

:D. I ignored the misspellings...until I saved the entire thing to my computer (it comes to 1,389 pages in the font and size I have it in, which is fairly small) and corrected every single instance of Kirisagi, Cetera, and Heidigger, as well as fixing dialogue punctuation stuff and so on. :p It's just OMG THE STORY! *bounces* I couldn't resist correcting stuff to make it better, but it's just so amazing the way it is...

Ehehehe. Thing is, Cloud/Sephiroth and Sora/Riku (have you played Kingdom Hearts?) are the only slash ships I have for the entirety of my video game fandoms. All of my other pairings are het, and I like them. Maybe I'd like Cid/Vincent...if I didn't like Yuffie/Vincent so much (and mildly like Cid/Shera), and if I understood why people ship Cid and Vincent together in the first place...

Advent Children...oh, I want. I want. *g*

Ooh... you have a version you corrected? Would you mind ever so much if you sent it to me? *g* That would be so great :D

Ah, I haven't played Kingdom Hearts - is it worthwhile? It's just the disney characters put me off, so...

Hee. On the whole, I'm not that much of a slasher in my video game fandoms either - but FFVII is the exception, being the only FF I slash in, certainly. (Cloud/Sephiroth, Rufus/Reno, Cid/Vincent are my main loves <3). I love Cloud/Aeris, Squall/Quistis, and I absolutely adore Zidane/Garnet... :D

And, Cid/Vincent... well, their interactions are just cute, I guess. *g* The way Vincent called Cid 'Chief', and how he told Cid not to expect anything else from him except for fighting by his side etc... not all that much, but then Rufus/Reno is hardly rational either, but I love it.

Hee.

Well, the version I corrected is a big long document and it would probably take forever for you to find your place, but sure! You give me an email address (that can handle 1000+ page documents) and I'll send it to you.

I like Kingdom Hearts. A bunch of the Disney makes me wince sometimes, but it's actually a pretty fun game and storyline.

Ahaha, out of the above list, Cloud/Sephiroth and Zidane/Dagger (hey, after five years of calling her Dagger, I can't really think of her as Garnet), we both like; apparently we don't share many FF ships either. :p I like Cloud/Tifa and Squall/Rinoa...*g*

Yay, thanks! jredman@gmail.com should be able to handle it :D

Cool, I'll probably check out KH eventually; everyone seems to love it :D

Hee, ah well. (And, really, I only call her Garnet because I didn't like the name Dagger and have always made her keep her name as Garnet :P)
