Things happening this fall:

1. College (!!!)
2. Eighteenth birthday (!!!!!!)
3. Final Fantasy: Advent Children
4. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Plus, twenty-one days until I graduate, and that's including weekends.

Also, this week in English we've been putting on performances of acts from Hamlet, and we had to do it with themes. Two groups, one from each period, did HP. (I am, btw, very disappointed with myself for not even thinking of doing HP.) They were all right, somewhat funny, though I was rather put out when one group casted Hamlet as Harry and Ophelia as Hermione. Just. No.

Oh, dude. No. Just because she's a girl? Oh, no. I can see Harry as Hamlet (angst! woe! angst!), but Hermione is no Ophelia, and not just because of the 'ship involved.

I've always thought Sirius would make a decent Hamlet, actually. (Except that Sirius is probably much more decisive than Hamlet would ever be.) Though if that means casting Remus as Ophelia, then, well, no.

Yeah, Hamlet-as-Harry makes sense, but...Hermione is no Ophelia. She wouldn't calmly do whatever her father and brother said, and she wouldn't go insane and kill herself when her father died. That's just...not Hermione. I also admit to not liking the casting because I don't like Harry/Hermione, but I think the group was really grasping for female characters if they decided to cast Ophelia as Hermione.

...Let's just have MWPP stay away from Hamlet, shall we? We do the cause of YesRemusIsMale no good to let him be Ophelia, even if Sirius is Hamlet. (Especially as I never really got the impression that Hamlet and Ophelia were really all that in love with each other anyway.)

YES. I WANT, so much. I love FFVII. IX remains my favorite, because I just ADORE ZIDANE SO MUCH (you've played IX, right?), but omg I want more VII.

Advent Children comes out two days before my eighteenth birthday. SUCH A GOOD BIRTHDAY PRESENT.
