1. A movie: I'm very fond of the original version of The Manchurian Candidate. And ooo ooo ooo, can I also recommend a tv show? If you're not watching House, you're missing out on a LOT. Damn funny, smart, and includes two of the most slashable characters I've come across in a long time.
2. A book: Hmmm... have you read any of the Hannibal Lecter novels? They're some of my faves. Also, if you've never read any Chuck Palahniuk, you simply must do so NOW.
3. A musical artist, song, or album: As far as artists go, lately I'm on a Grant Lee Buffalo kick. I'm also crazy about Snow Patrol, Muse, and a Japanese death metal band called Dir en Grey.

1. A movie: Unstrung Heroes, with Andie MacDowell and John Turturro. I only just discovered it'd been directed by Diane Keaton. Some might say it's a sappy movie, but I think it's highly poetic and moving and I love how it focuses on the little things. Gets me crying every time, and I don't cry that often in front of movies.
2. A book: Okay, okay, I won't say The Dream Merchant this time. *thinks hard* The Object of my Affection, by Stephen McCauley. Especially if you've seen the movie, because if the movie is from Nina's POV, the book is from George's, and it gives you a completely different story. Not to mention: slash. <3
3. A musical artist, song, or album: Martha Wainwright. Especially "BMFA". It's absolutely cathartic.
