I hate snow. Like, a lot. And the funniest thing is that I'm supposed to be in a desert. *grumbles*

ETA: So after a couple months of being absent, the author of this FFVII fic that I've been following just posted a new chapter. Then at the author's notes on the bottom, she casually says that she hasn't been updating because she's been diagnosed with cancer.

Someone told me once that the only month that has never seen any snow in Minnesota is July. *trembles*

It was about 80 today. I'm praying it will stay 80.

There is no month that I have not seen snow in. That includes July.

I'm praying there will be no more snow this year. Or at least until mid-late August, when I leave for Washington.

We usually do get a few last snowfalls in April, but this year it is unusually warm: it's been 70F for the last couple of days. Not to rub it in or anything... ;)

That's got to be a shock when you read that author's note. I rarely read the author's note at the bottom of a fic, because they are usually just thank yous to reviewers - though I read author's notes at the top because they are usually important to understand the story - so I wouldn't even have seen it. o_O

I never doubted your snowstorm for a second. I know better than that. I still remember having school cancelled because of snow during the last week before summer vacation.

Makes no sense whatsoever that you have snow and I am walking around outside with a jacket. Methinks the world has turned upside down. :)
