Why the hell does smut get hard to write? What was meant to be a short PWP for casirafics to thank her for her dirtytalking R/S comment porn (which she then turned into an actual fic) is turning out much longer than it ought to be, meaning it ought to have ended at least five hundred words ago. Well, casirafics, it's coming, if a bit slower than I'd like. *glares at it* And then I won't be able to write the other thank-you PWPs until this one stops tormenting me...bother.

Random question: how many of you would be horrified if I said that I've never seen a single David Thewlis movie? So many people seem to be raving about him...*coughanniesjcough* :p

I love Thewlis in PoA, but haven't seen anything else... I want to though. He's wonderful. Supposedly his most famous role is in Naked? That's just what I've gathered though.

Yes... he's a great actor... I'd recommend Naked though I will warn you that it's EXTREMELY hard to find. And it's an odd movie. It's like a Brit soap where a ton of stuff happens but there's really no plot.

Total Eclipse is wonderful. Timeline isn't bad... it's nice for the medieval aspects. (gerard butler is in it too... *drool*). He's only in Black Beauty for about a half hour, but he's absolutely adorable when he IS in it. Let's see... what else... uh... Restoration is an absolutely AMAZING movie and probably one of my favourites of his. I love Divorcing Jack but I think that one will be another hard to find one... and it's fairly politically based, but has a FAB ending. There's always Dragonheart where he plays the evil prince in it...

Fave one? Divorcing Jack. Very dark comedy (which isn't everyone's cup of tea but I *loved* it). Plus he has an Irish accent and is a complete goober.

Worst one? Timeline. SO BAD. And he plays an American with worse taste in cardigans than Lupin.

OMG GANGSTER NO. 1. *flails a great deal* OMG OMG OMG.

I am hopelessly in love with just his hair in that movie. Plus, the HOYAY runs rampant in between him and Paul Bettany. Even though it gets rather gritty and violent halfway through. (And when I say "rather," I mean SHIELD YOUR EYES, unless you're like me and live for that sort of shit.) And then Paul Bettany turns into Malcolm McDowell, and eh...

I sort of own Naked. Meaning I got it on ebay and it ended up being a bootleg, and the picture shakes for no reason in some parts, but it too is exceptional. Thewlis is... my GOD in that movie. I could watch it over and over.

I've heard great things about Besieged and Divorcing Jack, so they're both at the top of my Amazon wishlist, and with the arrival of the next paycheck they shall be MINE!!! *covets*

I've seen a movie or so of his outside of PoA, and I haven't really been impressed with them. I thought he did good in PoA, though.

I haven't seen Thewlis in anything. I haven't even seen PoA, thanks to the stupid Bald Jackal Thing which I KNEW I couldn't convince myself was a Potterverse werewolf. And since I don't go to movies much (once a year, if that) and since I don't have a functioning TV, much less a DvD player, I think that the odds are that I'm not going to see him in anything.
