My second crack_broom rec is up. Go check it out!

Two relieving things about today:

1. I got my final back in Japanese, and I got an A. I'm fairly sure this also means that I get an A in the class. Whew! :D

2. Scholarship applications were due today. This means that I don't have to worry about them anymore; I already turned mine in, but still.

Though randomly, am I the only one slightly saddened by JKR's revelation? I actually rather like Neville/Luna. More than I like Harry/Luna and Neville/Ginny at least, though I at least like Harry/Luna (not as much as I like Harry/Ginny though). There's something about Neville/Ginny that bothers me. I don't know what it is, precisely, and I can still read it and enjoy it, but it's not something I'd seek out. And I always thought Neville/Luna rather sweet.

And I have to wonder a bit why JKR chose this ship to denounce. It's not like Draco/Hermione, where JKR obviously doesn't want us to like Draco, especially not with the character based off of her. *sigh*

Though of course, every time she denounces a ship, even if it's one I passively like, I'll always be glad that it was that one and not Remus/Sirius! (JKR, please don't sink R/S, please don't sink R/S, please don't sink R/S...) *g*

I like Harry/Luna quite a bit, mostly because I'm really fond of the idea of Luna. I think she could do a lot for Harry!

I like Luna, and Harry/Luna. It's just sort of a passive liking, though.

I can deal with Neville/Ginny, but I just...don't think they're suited. *shrugs*

I'm actually a Luna/Ron shipper (Please don't shoot my ship and sink me!) but I agree, I really hope she doesn't sink R/S. I just find the "Married couple" comment in PoA as concrete evidence that it's meant to be.

It only bothers me in I'm pretty sure Harry will fall for Ginny by the end of the series, and Hermione and Ron will be together, so Neville and Luna will probably end up alone. Which is all right, I suppose, as they're still quite young, and we have no idea what they'll do after Hogwarts. I'm more a Harry/Luna, Neville/Ginny fan... I like the contrast in their characters. I never felt the chemistry between Neville and Luna, though I adore them both.

That icon is hilarious. ^_^

I don't like H/G R/Hr N/L because it means everyone is all paired up nicely, I like those pairings because I think they'd be good for each other. I'd actually think it would be sort of weird if everyone was all paired up nicely. o.O

I like Harry/Luna well enough, but I think Ginny's too fiery for Neville. Not that I don't think he can deal with fiery, but I think he'd be looking for something else in a romantic partner. *shrugs* Dunno. It just seems to me like Ginny would burn Neville. Whenever I think of N/G, it's always with a vague sort of distaste. *shrugs again*
