Because I'm bored (and I like having all the days on my calendar filled in with something), there's this poll. Answer it.

[Poll #392793]

ETA: Comments? *looks shifty eyed* I have comments to answer?

I'll do it tomorrow, and completely ignore my research project for another day.

And stay far, far away from the SIX INCHES OF SNOW on the ground outside.

I hate snow.

The only way it could possibly be useful is if it delayed school. Or even gave us a snow day, because I don't have to go to the last day of school anyway.

*shivers*

Snow is evil. Goodnight.

The egg, of course. There were eggs long before there were birds.

Send the snow here, please. I'm trying to put up my Christmas tree and the lack of snow is hampering my Christmas spirit. It's just not the same when there's torrential rain outside the window.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

It's a seemingly pointless question which actually has a serious theological point behind it. If one believes in evolution, then one must answer "egg," for the first chicken hatched out of an egg laid by a chicken-ancestor. If one believes Genesis is literally true, then one must answer "chicken" becuase ol' Yahweh created chickens during that busy first week.

Similarly, "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" is another theological question masquerading as nonsense. It has to do with the question of whether angels are pure spirit (answer--an infinite number) or have a corporeal nature (answer--a finite number).

And this is me being pedantic at 1:39 a.m. Good-night.

*g* I've never actually thought about it that way (but then, anything religious is usually not the first thing to pop into my head). Hmmm. I guess I'll know to always answer egg to that question then. :D

Unless you've read Good Omens, in which case the answer is one, because only one angel knows how to dance. *g*

This is me being silly at 9:30 pm. :p
