queerditch_pub drabbles, finally

First of all, my forearms are aching. We did some hand-to-hand stuff today in swordfighting, in case we're disarmed, and blocking...ow. But we did it enough that I'm sure, should someone come at me in one of the three ways that I learned to block, I could stop them. I might break my arm in doing so, but I could stop them. :p

Also, today I discovered something quite interesting. I usually take showers at night, since I don't want to get up early enough in the morning, but last night I was tired and so I had a shower this morning. And since I hate blow dryers, I let my hair air dry. You know what it does when I let it do that?

It turns into corkscrew curls. And it's not that there's anything wrong with corkscrew curls, but...it makes me think of...innocent little girls. Like Shirley Temple. And you know, while I may be able to tap dance, and I like to think I do it well, I'm no Shirley Temple. And certainly no innocent little girl. Look below at the last drabble if you doubt.

Behold, I finally got to participate in queerditch_pub, even if I was delayed a bit, so here are some drabbles. Theme today was history.


“Ron? Ron, what are you doing?”

Ron looked up, raising an eyebrow. “What’s it look like I’m doing?” he asked. “I’m reading.”

Hermione rolled her eyes. “Yes, I can see that,” she said, “but that looks like Hogwarts, a History.”

Ron smiled briefly before going back to his book. “It is,” he agreed. He shifted the book on his lap and settled back into reading.

“Oh,” Hermione said. “But…you’re always going on about how you don’t need to read it because I’ve practically memorized it. So why are you reading it now?”

Ron put a bookmark in and closed the book, then looked up. “Because it’s one of your favorite books,” he said quietly. “And you’ve been so understanding with me and Harry and Quidditch, so I thought…” He shrugged.

“Oh,” Hermione said again. “Ron, that’s…really nice. Thanks.”

He met her eyes, and smiled. “No problem,” he said, and Hermione felt warm.

Furious scribbles. Oh come on, Moony, it’ll be fun…

Fun for who? Doesn’t seem like my idea of fun…

It’ll be fun for you too, I promise!

James leans over, hisses, “Oi you two, what’s so important now? You want Binns to get ahold of that?”

“He’s dead and doesn’t care, so shove off, James,” Sirius growls, grabbing the note Remus passes back.

Is there something wrong with the ordinary method of fun?

No, of course not, but variety is the spice of life, Moony!

Remus snorts softly. Spice of life indeed. I’m sure you understand me not wanting to risk it, don’t you?

Well, yeah, but Moony, think about how it’ll feel. My tongue sliding around, so slowly, and you’ll be begging for me to go faster, but something like that just needs to be savoured, you know?

Remus growls. Sadist.

You know it, love. Now, how about it?

Sirius, for the last time, I’m not letting you put whipped cream up my arse so you can lick it away!

swordfighting! ooh. what kind do you do? i know what you mean about the bruises (i do karate) but it's a good kind of pain, isn't it? satisfying. little badges of honour... kinda. haha. there's a possibility that i'm just weird. :D (quite a large possibility, actually.)

i loved the drabbles! ron being sweet and sirius being... sirius? haha. i think i'm with remus on that one. ;)

Well, the Ron/Hermione bit was adorable, and the Remus/Sirius was...surprising. Course, that's probably what you were going for! LOL Good work!

Gah, drabbles. I loff them both, but especially the R/Hr one, because it is just so...there. (why can't I actually *write* what I'm trying to say?) Well, <333 anyways.

And corkscrew curls? I want a Picture! ^_~

Let me just say that I'm incredibly jealous of the hair. Mine does corkscrew curls only on the right side of my face, and then only occasionally. I would be so happy if, say, my ENTIRE HEAD would do that, but apparently it doesn't.

And Ron? Too cute for words.
