There are no words for how disappointed I am in this country.

ETA: I have to keep reminding myself that these are projections.

...Doesn't help much.

Turns out, it doesn't make it better that it could be worse. Because it could also be better, and we don't get that now.

Looking at the polls, I almost want to cry. That doesn't happen very often.

Even if Kerry does win (which, sigh, doesn't look likely), it's still disappointing how many people vote for Bush. Gahhhh.

Ohio hasn't been counted yet. Ohio hasn't been counted yet. Yeah it sucks, but hey, it was their choice.

I know it's their choice. Doesn't stop me from being disappointed, because I can't imagine how, after these past four years, people can still believe in Bush.

We have to hope for Ohio. If we get Ohio, and the other states projected for Kerry, we can win. And Ohio only has a two percent difference, according to Yahoo...

I'm so freaked out. I just looked over at Nevada, and on my map it's pale pink now, not pale blue! It's all Ohio though...I think I'm gonna cry.

Back to packing now. For Canada. (or Japan). Care to join me?

Sigh. I'm not surprised about Nevada--the only liberal part of it is Las Vegas, though considering most of the people in Nevada live in Vegas...

I don't want to get my hopes up.

I see your point - but really, Kerry was not a great candidate to get Bush out *stubbornly supports Howard Dean* XP

I don't care if Kerry wasn't the best candidate, at least he wasn't Bush!
