I did my part, please don't let it be wasted

I couldn't stand waiting around this afternoon, so I went down to Democratic Headquarters for Northern Nevada and volunteered, and have just spent the past eight or so hours there.

I called people and asked if they voted, and, later, I walked around and went up to people's doors and asked if they voted.

I can't vote, so I did what I could. According to the latest polls, Nevada is actually going Kerry, but as the pollings places only closed about two hours ago, it's still very up in the air.

WHY IS BUSH WINNING? FLORIDA, WHAT GIVES?

I'm scared for this country. And I'm scared for this world, who has to deal with this country.

WHY DOES BUSH HAVE SO MUCH OF THE POPULAR VOTE?

I hereby vow that if Nevada goes to Kerry, I will write porn.

I hereby vow that if Kerry wins the presidency, I will write more porn.

AND NONE OF IT SHALL BE REMUS/SNAPE.

I'm glad to see someone else feels the same way I do. I don't fear terrorism, I fear for the future of our country, I FEAR the president IF Shrub stays in. I shouldn't have to fear anything but I do, and its going to be awhile before this feeling goes away. I wanna sit here and cry regardless.

Bash Ohio, man! They're the fucks who are going to take 11 days to count their provisionals. Florida was sane this year!

Er. Not in our senatorial race or when amendment number one passed or in that we voted for Bush. BUT WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE A MONTH AGAIN TO DECIDE WHO WE'RE VOTING FOR.

I don't have much cause, without being hypocritical--Nevada went red too, after all. Sigh. I was just hoping that, after the debacle that was 2000, Florida would go Democrat.

You know, I don't know why Florida didn't go Democrat. However, looking at the county map, the counties that count voted Democrat. The backward ones voted Republican, heh.
