It snowed today! *shivers*
Oct. 28th, 2004 09:04 pmHappy birthday,
adamasoda! Am writing fic for you too, but am tired like hell right now, and so will finish it tomorrow.
Thank Bob I can sleep in tomorrow. Nevada Day is wonderful, especially because it's also Halloween, and so, until the county (or was it state?) decided that we shouldn't interrupt the week, we always got Halloween off. Best thing ever. But now we just get the last Friday before Halloween off (unless Halloween is a Monday--then we get it off, and oh my God this is sounding dirty isn't it? o.O).
Am doing NaNo, and am tempted to start a NaNo journal, but...what does one put in such a journal? Excerpts from their novel? Ranting and raging and gnashing of teeth about how few words one has?
Anyway, I think I will go to bed and keep reading At Swim, Two Boys. Gah. I love Jim and Doyler. I want them to have a happy ending, but they don't, do they? *enormous sigh*
G'night.
ETA: I found my Mary-Sue self-insertion fic of a year and a half ago and
louve_mae and I are laughing over it. XD And the strangest thing is, it was eventually going to be Remus/me...and now I've got the strongest urge to continue it, get Remus and "me" together...and then have Remus figure out that he's in love with Sirius and leave me.
XD XD XD
ETAjr: What is up with the name BoSox? Yes, I know that they're from Boston, but seriously people. BoSox sounds too much like Botox and makes me think of the entire Red Sox team going out for a celebratory wrinkle-removing session, which is just a weird mental image.
