My Bob, thank you all for the birthday wishes! I didn't have time to reply to all the individual posts, but just...*loves upon the flist liek whoa*
I'm going to be starting on the drabbles tonight, though bear in mind that as I have this birthday party of doom tomorrow (bugger twins who want parties when I don't!) that my twin has managed to get it to be a sleepover, my weekend will be partly eaten up by that, and then there's
queerditch_pub on Sunday, but I will get some done! :D Especially as such a variety of fandoms have been requested.... But anyway, that soon I mentioned will probably be any time within a week. If it takes longer, feel free to poke me.
Though...*pokes
thunderemerald for requesting Remus HET* WHY? *wibbles* It's just because you know I don't like it, isn't it? :p
Now for something I want to ask...
Is getting an iPod with more than 1,000 songs worth it? My parents gave me a mini yesterday, which holds 1,000, but they said that was just because there were no full sized ones in Reno and wouldn't be for over a month yet, and they gave me a mini just as a sort of promise, but they'll return it if I decide I want the full one. So my question to you who have iPods--is it worth having all those songs?
I also got The Science of Harry Potter, The Ivory Tower and Harry Potter, and JK Rowling's Harry Potter Novels. I will maybe be getting more of those kinds of books tomorrow at the party. At least I hope so--everyone who's coming knows how I am about HP.
Now to get to work on writing! :D

Date: 2004-09-17 09:06 pm (UTC)For the iPod, how much music do you have? If you have about 100 songs then a mini would be more than enough, but in my opinion the brilliance of an iPod is that you can keep all your music on it (within reason). Even the songs you aren't listening to right now, you might randomly want to hear while you are off somewhere far far away from your cd collection. Plus, you'd have more room to expand. If you like to listen to the same music forever until you can't stand it, then a mini might be big enough. Plus some of it is about the look- do you prefer white or metallic-y. What colour did you get?
not that I actually have and iPod...my dad does? but it was an apple-related question, you were asking for it, really...

Date: 2004-09-17 09:14 pm (UTC)Just look at your CDs, and how many songs you have on your computer, then think about how often you buy/download new stuff... if it's not that often, stay with the mini. If it's all the time, you'll want the full size before you know it.
