This is so so good. I actually found myself slowing down as I was reaching the final scenes of the story because I just did not want this one to end ♥
I loved the deliciously slow build, and the way they both slowly but surely opened up to each other and dared to put themselves out there, trusting the other with their pasts, with their fears and their hearts. You conveyed the instant connection between them beautifully, as well as their respect for and their growing understanding of each other's point of view. Your characterisation of both Jim and Spock was spot on, and you've got a wonderful way with words. This was such a delight to read!
