rynne: (can't be too fond of books)

Heh. Last year I brought a lot of books with me (well, relatively--maybe 50 or so) to school, but I was busy enough, or doing other things enough, that I didn't read more than half of them. So this year I figured I'd bring fewer, so now I only have maybe 20 or 25 of my own books.

So of course I immediately start craving some of the books I left at home. XD A few days ago I went to the library and checked out sixteen books, and I've already read seven of them. I...am probably going to spend a lot more time at the public library this semester.

In other, more important news, I have a bit of a dilemma as regards study abroad and graduation. I'm supposed to leave London on May 15th. Graduation is the 16th. So the question is, do I want to graduate the day after a very long flight, or do I want to spend a bit more time in Europe after the program is over, and graduate in 2011?

I'm going to be done with my degree Fall 2010, but the school doesn't have ceremonies in the fall, only in the spring. If I'm going to make it to a ceremony (and my parents will be extremely disappointed if I don't, and of course I want to), then it will either be after a long flight and cutting me off from more time in Europe ([livejournal.com profile] heart_of_man, I was thinking after my program is over might be a good time to go to Germany), or it will be half a year after I'm done with school.

Right now I'm leaning more towards the ceremony in 2011, but I'm not sure. Well, at least I have plenty of time to think about it.
