I finished my Remix! And now it's off to beta! This is full of yay. :D But now I have to go work on the take-home essay question for the test I've got tomorrow, so have a couple memes. :p

So I was adding some new interests to my LJ profile and found myself feeling defensive every time I typed a female name, thinking, basically, FUCK YOU, SHE'S AWESOME, because I felt as if someone somewhere was going to be criticizing my love for them.

So, anyway, then I made a list of women who make me want to say FUCK YOU, SHE'S AWESOME. They are far from the only women who are awesome, or the only women people need to be told to step off of, but they are the top ten I feel that way about, right now, off the top of my head.

If you want to argue with me about the awesomeness of any of these women, I am afraid I will simply be referring you to the subject line. THAT IS ALL.

I only chose women I've found to be controversial. I am sometimes boggled by the amount of hate I see on the internet for these women. Just because someone's not on this list doesn't mean I don't think she's awesome. In no particular order.

I wouldn't say I precisely like Diana Fowley, but I appreciate her, and I think she gets far more hate than she deserves. She did honestly care about Mulder, in the end--she's the one who slipped Scully the key card in "Sixth Extinction: Amor Fati", and she died for that. She probably knew she would die for that when she did it, so I think it shows a lot of strength, that she went against CSM like that.

I don't think there's anyone I hate that everyone else loves. There are women I'm not interested in, but I don't bother hating fictional characters. :p

She is! She's a relatively minor character, but she gets so much character growth. I love Jackie. :D
