rynneGot to Trang on Sunday, but again, the internet at this hotel is sorta spotty. I keep having to hold my computer just so...and I keep losing the signal if I shift to get more comfortable. *sigh*
I'm sick, which is just not fair! Have had a nasty cold the past couple days. Yesterday was especially bad, both in terms of the cold, and of it interfering. Trang's close to the coast of Thailand, and we arranged a sort of tour of the islands around the coast. I went, but while my parents were getting in the water and snorkeling and exploring this place called the Emerald Cave (I think), I felt completely horrible and stayed on the boat. I'd had at least nine hours of sleep the night before, but I still kept falling asleep--even though the bench was hard wood, too short for me to stretch out, and I was using a lifejacket for a pillow. :p
I've also got 30+ mosquito bites, even given the extra-strong bug repellent I put on. Not quite as bad as when I went to Italy, but still not fun.
I hate flying at the best of times, especially excessively long flights, but we leave for the US again tomorrow, and I really hope I'm not that sick anymore, or it'll be totally horrible. Gah.
Still, Thailand has really been lovely, and it was wonderful to see my younger sister again.
