remixredux signups are open! I love this exchange. I haven't done very many ficathons/challenges/exchanges lately, but I totally wouldn't skip Remix. I've been looking at the applications, and was happy to see some people listing X-Files in their "fandoms with more than five stories", given that's the fandom I most want to write in--though fewer than I thought, given how huge a fandom it is. Maybe it's also that it's an old fandom and most of it doesn't take place on LJ. It's the same way with Star Wars--of course there's some active element of the fandom here, but not the vast majority. But this year, and last year, I looked at Remix signups and was sorta amazed at how few people listed SW, given how old and popular it is.

Dunno where I'm going with this, if anywhere. I'm just happy to have Remix back. Especially since last year, I finished my fic the same day I got the assignment. :p

Who else is thinking of signing up?

Me! I love remix, it was a lot of fun last year. Like you though, my favourite fandoms aren't well represented, woe. :p
