rynneSo. Last night I was installing recommended updates for my computer, including one for the OS. Then when I do the required restart, all I get is a gray screen with an icon in the middle of a blinking file folder with a question mark in it. I just went to the tech guys here, and they said that something the computer needed to start up was probably left out or something when it updated, and that I would probably need my specific OS installation CD to get anywhere.
My installation CD? Is at home. Hadn't really thought I'd need it up here, what with the OS already being installed and all.
Anyway, now I'm going to have to use a library computer until I can get my parents to mail the CD up to me. *sigh*
